If the Saints sign Nicks, I'd have to think he went there for a workout first. Plus- he'd have to be better than all the other Saints prospects at WR. Hopefully Nicks somehow got more healthy than he was last year.
he has really good hands and the ability to fight for the ball. He could end up being a Steve Smith (Giants' version) guy who moves the chains and goes fetal. Useful.

I'm glad for the guy. he could have earned so much more, but, getting paid for trying out for a team, and if he does make the team getting paid to be a backup, isn't a bad consolation prize. It's a little tough on the ego, but the body and bank account are happy.
