when camp was at Albany and it was fun to watch and anyone could get autographs...

Life goes on--a little less fun.

A little or a LOT?
I have not attended camp since 1990

At Fairleigh Dickinson University It was a great time. Tons of autographs open to public and weather did not matter.
My wife and I plan to go on the 5th weather permitting but I have a feeling more practices will be closed to the public than open the way the weather has been.
I have to assume they must have had issues in the past with autographs and players open to the public for them to limit it to only kid’s? What happened to cause this or do the players simply do not want to be bothered?
Albany was great stay two nights and see 5 practises

Less practices.

It all has imo has taken away the quality of the game..esp see it in first few games of season (sloppiness, injuries etc)
Sucks

because U Albany really improved their facilities for Football ,I took some of my players up for one of their spring practices and I was really impressed by the new stadium .I really miss going up there for camp and getting away from NYC for a few days ..Good times

The professional autograph seekers ruined it for all.

They would arrive early and wait in the designated area with chairs , with multiple partners, to help gather as many signatures as they can. Others, would push their way to the front, regardless if children were waiting there before them. it was a mob-like scene at times.

Tbh, I'm glad it's only for the kids. Cause they're the most sincere autograph seekers, that will cherish that memory for a lifetime. The professionals looking to make a living on eBay can go fuck themselves.

I agree with the sentiment about Albany. Loved making the trip up there. But don't miss seeing middle aged, overweight men in giants jerseys elbow little kids out of the way to try to get autographs. Almost as bad as grown men bringing gloves to baseball games
