Nassib had a rough opening game to the preseason last year and then looked much better the following weeks. Or is it the 2014 preseason I'm thinking of?
His vision has been great and I'm seeing burst and shake that I've never scene him have before.
On the other hand I don't think their is one backup OL that is worth keeping. Damn they are bad.
I've always thought Williams had good ability I think it was his vision and the blocking the Giants have had the past few years. I think he makes the team and actually gets some good play time this year.
Just going by tonight, I can't see any reason to carry more than 8 OL on the 53 man roster and then another two on the practice squad.
Tend to agree. Why use a ninth roster spot for another OL in this situation? But the Giants will probably carry nine, since that is their custom. Right now, we've got a lot of bodies, but the backup OL is concerning. The D has been excellent. Pressure and coverage. Great stuff.
by Nassib leads to the INT. He did make a nice slant completion to Davis on an earlier series. Thought Hart was solid in pass protection. Another nice run by Williams.

This is the same Nassib that we have seen in pre season since the day he was drafted. An occasional nice throw surrounded by a lot of play from a guy who looks like he should never be an NFL starter at QB

Agreed we could use him and Vazquez but they might not be able to play 16 games total between the two. Lacking O-line talent will sink a ship fast.
Williams looks good as does Apple and the DL. D overall looks sharp

Doubt he is any worse, he may actual impress compared to Nassib.
