Giants starting OL is "average" (serviceable).
Giants backup OL is "below average" (hard to watch really....)
TE Larry Donnell can't block. He is a liability and teams will attack him when he is in there.
Giants DL, starting, is top notch.
Giants starting defense will have a GREAT year if they stay healthy.
Giants special team should be solid once again.
That's what you got from TODAY?
Yeah, LOL. But you know what, these results are pretty consistent with the camp reports EXCEPT that our offense was worse today than anyone could have imagined. Watching our TE's try to block is just painful. Painful.
Almost all of us believed that the OL needed an upgrade - the Giants tried but lost out on some FAs - the draft seems to have been very good to us but we passed on the OL - Reece acted surprised that anyone would be concerned - we have 3 really really challenged starters - did we loose out because FLOWERS had to be the LT - even the best fantasizers that hoped Jerry Hart Newhouse and Flowers would be average or better all of a sudden - can't be feeling very good - this is scary - an offense with some strong weapons may have trouble against everyone with a strong DL and pass rush - I do not like the way our GM presents himself and the arrogance that comes forward - but I love the Giants more than I want him fired -but if we waste another precious year of Eli and OBJ ---- Reece cannot work here anymore - he will have nobody to blame but himself - personally I hoped he was out with Coach Coughlin - when he fanned on at least one OT I was thinking maybe He knew better - does anyone think this is a reasonable nfl OL? We really have one more preseason game to go before Dallas
-
And you guys were complaining about the run blocking?
Reece acted surprised that anyone would be concerned

What are you referring to? Not disputing, just trying to get educated.
I doubt that the Giants thought their line was fine as is. I suspect that after using late picks on OL prospects that didn't pan out, and signing UDFA linemen who showed why they were never drafted, the Giants decided to go a different direction and use late round picks and UDFA slots on prospects they were more confident in. But this is year 1 of a 2-year plan, and year 2 probably entails either more veteran free agent signings, more premium picks on OL, or both.

I am really looking forward to reese and McAdoo's response after this game. will it be excuses and promises of improving or roster moves via trade or signings. status quo is fool's gold.
He was not so good last week, but has redeemed himself here today. Question, however is will the Giants keep more then 4 RBs? If so who goes? Maybe we can make a trade?
I'm already primed to watch Cam Robinson of Alabama and Roderick Johnson of Florida State all year

Nassib update 2 for 12 - 25 yards. Just in.

I think Josh Scobee is the best one out there. Otherwise, we wait until someone is cut.

WHy did Bob Timberlake flash before my eyes ...
We have plenty of cap room.
That's one thing we do have. Cap room.
