Can't believe anybody in their right mind would take any WR on the planet over AB though. I assume you took Dez at 9?

McCoy is going to be a high-volume RB and Langford looks like the clear #1 RB option after weeks of uncertainty with JHoward timeshare....

I like the team overall... A lot of potential with your WR core

I'm very concerned about Ertz as your TE1, though... What do your backups look like at the position?

I got some inside scoop that Rodgers is going 2 and Newton is going 4. Also, rumored is Wilson and possibly Luck will go in round 2 before my pick. We give more points to QBs than most leagues, but it isnt to the point where you have to take them early. Also I was told that if Nelson is available at 15, he will be gone as well. It is possible that an Elliot or a Miller may fall to me in the 2nd round.

charles is a definite.

cooks, evans, cooper next. if charles is gone, take 2 WRs. I am avoiding freeman this year.

I like your first three picks overall but this team looks good for a 12 team league so I am guessing that there are other teams that look better than yours in your 10 team league. I like Ertz. I just feel like you may have reached for certain players. I think after the first three your team started to drop a little.

the only pick I felt like I reached for was Drew Brees in the 6th. A round earlier than I wanted to take him, but I like him this year.

Jobes in the 9th is awesome value. He will be gone in the round 6-7
Range in many drafts I think

Pretty solid team, pj.. I think in a team with this format I would have drafted another RB wherever you took Brees and waited a few rounds longer on QB. I feel like you could wind up dangerously thin at RB if Langford doesn't pan out and Abdullah is "meh" or Murray gets hurt.

McCoy is really shooting up my board.. he's my RB8 at this point behind Gurley, DJ, AP, Miller, Elliott, Bell and Charles. Looking to get him @ 3.3 in my 10 team draft. So I love that pick.

Also as I have said many times, I think Marvin Jones will return big value.. especially as a WR4. You have a very good group.. just sucks it's not PPR which would enhance that strength a bit but still plenty of value. A lot of potential upside at the back end between White and Thomas.

Like robbie said, I think given that it's a 10 team league there may be a couple rosters I'd prefer but this isn't a bad team by any means. Waiver wire is such a large component so I don't think you're far away from having a really good team if you wind up with one of those WW steals at the RB spot or maybe even TE.

You like Brees more than Luck?

There are a few things I would have done differently like focus more on RBs but not bad.

I like Watkins, Rodgers, Baldwin, Cobb, Landry, and maybe DT, more than Hilton but if Luck can regain his form because of his shitty OL then Hilton could be good. I like Murray where you got him. I think Brees went to high especially in a 4 point TD league. I see a lot of QBs went there but I would have went and gotten another skill player imo.

I think you did fantastic with your RB's. Obviously top notch WR's. That will happen when you focus much of your early draft on WR's. Love McCoy in the 3rd, amazing value. Also love that you have two guys in Langford and Abdullah that have huge upside. I think you did a great job, I'd be psyched with that draft.

Don't love Ertz as a starting TE and I think the GMen have the upside to be a good fantasy Def. Overall, love your draft and I'd be pumped if mine went the same way.

Knowing how much we disagree on most things fantasy, this is a special moment in our relationship. Congrats.

I am starting to really like McCoy as well and I probably wouldn't have taken Brees in that spot either. If there is a criticism, that would be it.

I do disagree with arc's take on your RB's, I think you are very solid and deep. McCoy is obviously a bonafide starter. Murray should get the lionshare in Ten and by all accounts, they really like him. Langford will be valuable just based on touches alone. He's getting almost all of the work in the preseason with the first team and he is a well rounded back. Abdullah is an electric runner that det tried so hard with last year, but he fumbled a ton. When he corrects that, he's going to be a fantasy star. Another guy that does it all and if he can hold onto the ball, will get most of the touches in that backfield.

It bugs me that you can't pre-rank positions individually in Yahoo, you can only rank the entire pool.

I have so many lists (including composite lists) I can't even decide what I want to use.

I like to tier each position and then use the ADP page.

I always feel prepared for my drafts strategy/player wise for the most part but I always feel too disorganized and lose track of stuff in the middle of the draft and wind up kind of winging it.

Also, after doing 9000 mocks, I pretty much know who I am targeting in each round anyway.

I like the team! Who are some sleeper RB's that you guys are targeting mid to lower rounds?

The way my mocks have been going (12 teams), I've been able to get either:
1- a great WR and a 2nd tier RB like Lacy and McCoy as my RB 1
2- a great RB and a 2nd tier WR like Watkins or Evans as my WR 1

It's tough finding good RB's though later rounds..

fell in a tough way to get RB's. RB's went early.

We only need to start 2 RB's and can start 4 WR's.

I'll probably trade a WR for a RB2 if I can, and watch waivers for this year CJ Anderson.

We start 3 wrs 10 team 3 keeper (2 with optional 3) half ppr

I pick 4th.. What are the odds I keep Charles and redraft Cooper? Cooper would be my keeper in the future. He is ranked 5th in dynasty. Value wise I think it's smart. I was GOING to keep Cooper and let Charles walk... but it's Charles and I can likely redraft Cooper or get a similar WR depending on how smart teams are... I was leaning Cooper but Charles should be the pick? Or don't even risk Cooper for one single pick in a keeper league with 3 starting WRs??

The 3 teams ahead of me were picking ahead of me regardless, the one after me will jump me by only keeping 2 and picking in round 3 and it doesnt penalize him as it relates to me because he picks after me anyway. I am most worried about this team getting Cooper but he should be looking at RB with Bell suspended.

after seeing all of the picks/rounds you posted. This is not about YOUR picks but I am wondering how does Edelman last that long before getting drafted. Then Freeman going before Ingram? Others that I noticed too.

Edelman is ranked between 18 and 33 at WR based on the source, he was the 17th WR taken - this is not PPR where I could see taking him higher. He's got Garoppolo for 4 games and is by most people's guess, not a good bet to play more than 8 games.

Freeman has a higher ADP than Ingram too in every source I look at.

I don't think either of those are bad. There were some bad picks though. One guy it was his first time doing FFL. He took Greg Olsen in the 3rd, Andy Dalton as his starting QB in the 7th.

Last year in our draft he drafted 3 QB's in his first 4 picks. He drafted Beckham, Brees, Peyton, and Brady. In that order. And he was ridiculed mercilessly. he lost in the league finals b/c his other guys were all great and he traded Brees and Peyton early.
