NFT: Supplement Question

CMicks3110 : 8/21/2016 10:24 pm
So I tend to struggle a bit cognitively when under stress and I was looking for supplements that might help with this issue. I came across L-Tyrosine, which is supposed to be a pre-cursor for dopamine and Norepinephrine. The material itself seems safe, but I'm always skeptical of the seller and whether the product is actually present in what i'm buying. Does anyone have anny recommended sellers of this product, and if they've taken it, have ou seen any results in terms of cognitive functioning, mood, energy?

meditation helps with your breathing, which helps you cognitively when you are giving a presentation or in some other stressful situation. it ensures you slow down and breathe, assessing your thoughts/feelings without judgment. when you give a presentation or are in some other stressful situation, the tendency is to tighten up & shorten your breath and it impacts the oxygen that goes to your brain and your ability to perform can be impacted. meditation is a natural, calming way to handle these stressors.
It may be the placebo effect

But I've been taking Basis from Elysium for about 60 days now and I've seen a marked difference in my ability to get to sleep and stay asleep and to function better overall because of it. Overall my alertness has improved and I am able to stay focused easier on my tasks.

L-theanine has helped me. Maybe it's just a placebo but I take one in the morning when I wake up and it just makes me feel relaxed and focused at the same time. I have some coffee as well and the combination makes me feel alert but calm. Less stressed but not groggy.
