The admirable quality about Cooper is he never gives up. This guy is talented, has good football instincts, and is still one of the best prospects at the safety position in camp. If Cooper Taylor can now stay healthy, Thompson ,Collins and Taylor could be make a effective NFL safety unit. God I wish this guy could stay healthy. He has had strong tackles, recovered fumbles and even scored a TD off a blocked punt.
The Giants need him to step up based on what I have seen in preseason so far. He took advantage of the opportunity with the interception in the 4th Quarter. If he could put it all together he could be a PRO BOWL safety.
Case in point about the secondary: The cornerback # 38 broke up a TD pass in the end Zone, but the Bills went right back to the WR who outmuscled him on the next play. The Giants are trying to build a secondary. Eli Apple was chosen in the first round for that reason, but we need to get physical very quickly.
But how many tackles has he completely whiffed on this preseason? He isn't looking the greatest in run support.

He reminds me of a young MARK HAINES.
Haynes was a good one though ..
But as others have pointed out, he has to stay healthy, do well on specials, and start playing better in the preseason.
As to post season awards.......

I guess you want to see more desperate cornerback play like #38 Deayon holding on for dear life, to a touchdown already caught in the end zone
That "holding on for dear life" actually saved a TD, you facemask obsessing fuck.
Keep an eye out for Joe Powell. He could be the real deal. He is physical and wants to prove he can play. He is big corner.

Cooper Taylor if he stays healthy could be very good. Ironically Cooper Taylor has best statistics outside of Collins. That's how experienced our secondary is.
The outmuscled shit was above.
Because you've seen him play...
Not to credit the OP, but at this point it seems NONE of the backup safeties has done bubkus to separate himself from the pack. So Taylor has as good a shot as anyone. IMO.

This thread is proof of a typical complaint re BBI
Too many Fruit of the Loons
By the way how is the experiment going with DT Nikita Whitlock?
As for Fatman the guy is a pessimist by nature. We have 3 possibly 4 good safeties. If Mykelle Thompson gets better we are in good position.

Now now, Fatman, it's not nice to make fun of the mentally retarded
