mattlawson : 8/24/2016 3:13 pm

Jerry Reach asleep at the wheel. Typical.
Decent trade for the Skinsos.
Dave in Hoboken : 8/24/2016 3:43 pm : link
Basically got him for nada.

Exactly. He probably didn't even know Stork was available.

How's he even still got a job?

This wasn't a move that would entice the season ticket holders to re-up.. Jerry Reach aims for the stars not the scrubs.
Bingo..

Especially since he's never had a winning season apart from the two SB years!!

(That was a new one from today). The BBI stupid is strong this time of year.
It's either multiple Super Bowls
B in ALB : 8/24/2016 3:55 pm : link
Or nothing with Reese. I'm fucking sick of it!
Now
antdog24 : 8/24/2016 3:55 pm : link
we'll never have a pro bowl center!!
Now reports in DC
BigBlueinChicago : 8/24/2016 4:06 pm : link
have Stork possibly retiring.

Stay tuned apparently.
Baahahah
antdog24 : 8/24/2016 4:08 pm : link
He would rather retire than become a Redskin... awesome!
For almost 20 years now....

Okay - fluid situation at #Redskins Park. Source says Bryan Stork is considering retirement. Team clearly working to convince otherwise
I know what the problem is
Greg from LI : 8/24/2016 4:11 pm : link
Stork's favorite ice cream flavor is vanilla, and thus he can't bring himself to play for lil' Danny Snyder.
It would have been a great deal
AP in Halfmoon : 8/24/2016 4:12 pm : link
before the concussion protocol policy. Now he's a waste of a jersey
How does a team..
FatMan in Charlotte : 8/24/2016 4:13 pm : link
talk a guy out of retirement??

Hey, Stork. C'mon, the damge has been done. You'll have plenty of years down the road to be a drooling invalid, but how often do you get to play for a liliputian megalomaniac?

We take good care of player's health anyway. We have a referral in Cleveland you can turn to...

Per Dan Snyder employee Chris Cooley, traded-for center Bryan Stork is retiring
they just want him to come in for an exam
Greg from LI : 8/24/2016 4:15 pm : link
Dr James Andrews is ready and waiting in that little shed behind the Skins bench at Fed Ex.

Did he put a picture of his junk in the tweet or was he wearing his wife's shorts?

Just what you want, a player who you need to convince to play. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Beatty hangs them up.
HE doesn't want to play

He was considering

retirement anyway.

Because the skins are a juggernaut!
They may not be a juggernaut
Giantfan in skinland : 8/24/2016 5:52 pm : link
But they've won the division 2 of the last 4 seasons. That's better than any of the other three teams (we've won it zero times over that span).

I think it's ok to be impressed with what they're building. Pointing to the moves Vinny Cerrato made 10 years ago as a reason why you can discount what the current regime is doing is ducking your head in the sand, imv. They have weaknesses...for sure. No running game to speak of, holes in their defense, their two best offensive weapons (D-Jax and Jordan Reed) are very injury prone. All that said, they've been making better draft picks and spending their FA bucks more judiciously since Scott Mccloughan has been hired. I don't see how people can deny that their arrow is generally pointed upwards at this point.
Please tell me the skins traded the pick
djm : 8/24/2016 5:58 pm : link
And the guy retired anyway.
Trade is official
kporzee : 8/24/2016 6:05 pm : link
But there's a reason the pick is conditional.

Not sure how anyone can see much wrong with the move, but a lot are trying.
