Jasper Brinkley is the equivalent of Jameel McClain from a few years ago...starting MLB and leading tackler one year...the next year he is cut and never plays in the league again. Brinkley is 30 years old, unathlethic 2 down journeyman MLB who can't run or play special teams...NFL today is a passer league...teams prefer smaller LBs that can run...would not surprise me if he gets cut.
A toss up with who ever gets cut ending up on the practice squad. I chose to cut D Deayon since with his size he is probably least likely to get picked up by another team. B Jackson last summer was going to be our starting S...plus he can play C and a good special teams player.
I think Adams and Whitlock Make it. They need guys who can block.
I don't think they will keep 7 wr or 5 dt.
Okwara and Wynn are in a battle. Both could make it.

You have a valid point here...checked the official roster after final cuts last year Giants kept 10 DL last year....maybe they only keep 9 DL and go 5 DEs and 4 DTs this year
This year, they could go as little as four DEs - my guess would be JPP, OV, OO, and Romeo Okwara - and four DTs - Snacks, Hankins, Bromley, and Milhouse. They could, conceivably, keep a 5th DE, but they'll probably use Kennard up front in certain packages.
I'd keep five Safeties, though, primarily for help on special teams.
I'm not sure how many WRs they'll keep, but I'm leaning more towards six than seven.
I'm 90% sure I've seen enough of Donnell. The Giants of course may well disagree. But if his blocking was going to improve, it would have done so by now. I'd rather keep Adams. Many teams had a mid round grade on him. He slipped to the sixth because of some character concerns.
King over White.
We're not resigning Beatty. That's done.
Okwara makes the 53. Wynn, Hughes, and Nix fight for the 9th DT/DE spot. Agree about Milhouse.
Deayon over Wade. Remember that Deayon can return punts.
Assuming his concussion is OK, M. Thompson over Jackson. If it isn't, then he goes on IR, and it's Taylor.
Right now, its who is the least worst...

Which is pretty damning when you consider that it looks like with McAdoo at the helm, the TEs will be featured much more prominently (and in a wider variety of roles) than they have been in the past. I suppose the next two preseason games will be very telling, but what they'll actually tell us is anybody's guess at this point.
Personally, I would have put Donnell's head on the chopping block after his performance against Buffalo. To me, it was simply mind-blowing how awful he looked, but it reinforced what I've been saying about the guy for several weeks now. As for "everybody's All-American," the feel-good story of 2015, Will Tye, I guess I just don't see what everyone else is seeing. Again, to me it looks like when it's 3rd and 8, Tye is good for a 7-yard completion.
Problem is most likely they only have 4 Rb slots what they kept last year meaning they would need to cut A Williams a 4th round pick in 2014 who has lost weight and looks good so far this year..while Darkwa was a free agent that has been quiet so far...They would need to Williams in order to keep Darkwa...dont see that happening
Also, I believe that Darkwa, Whitlock, Cleary and Taylor are all ineligible for the PS

Thanks that really clarifies things as far as the players listed above..if it close with other players that can be stashed on practice squad that has to be factored into the decision of who gets kept...
Also to answer BillT above..the Giants kept 8 OL and 6 WR following final cuts in 2015...in 2014 the kept 7 WRs
Yeah, like you came up with that all by yourself.
