It will be interesting to see what if anything Cruz has left.
I'm down on Donnell. Don't like him. Maybe we get a chance to see what Adams can do.
I'm very disappointed that D. Thompson won't be able to play. Hopefully he gets back in for next week. He looked like a veteran, and he and Collins already seem to have developed a chemistry between them.
Glad to see Apple is back. I think he's going to be a player.
Victor... I'm under the impression that we Americans have a much shorter attention span when it comes to reading things today. I've seen this throughout the net. Some have taken it too far (there is no meat in some articles at all).
But I'm going to try a new balance of brevity with critical specifics (more apparent in game reviews).

You're right, it's short attention span theater nowadays. I'm old :-), so I like to read, I don't use twitter or Facebook, but younger people are scanners. I see it with my own kids. It's all instant gratification and move on to the next thing.
I like your traditional style, but I'm sure you will strike a balance and cover all the bases as you always do.
This game for me is all about the blocking of the TE's and OL (particularly Newhouse, Jerry, and Flowers). Did they figure anything out this week? Or, as I am fearful, is it going to be more of the same?
didn't Osi tear his ACL in Jets-Giants pre-season?....Then Eli's gushing head....I thing the Giants took out Testeverde, one year, or was it Pennington?

bad mojo game....hate it
I could be wrong but in 2008 I think Osi went down in Chicago?

How about that lazy slob, Marvin Austin, taking out the Sanchize?
Spot on with the Cruz Saga it certainly be fitting if he
was able to show the separation and Quicks he once had .
Be fitting with a Salsa Dance ...
Thompson still worries me a bit its a shame he is sitting this one out .We need solid play from the FS position .
The Linebackers are adequate IMO so whomever wins the MLB
spot is fine with me I still like Brinkley there the most
Apple has impressed me moreso with the way he played
specials in that he is a better tackler than I thought .
Disappointed Davis isn't healthy I think he is the wild
card if Cruz doesn't cut the mustard although with
Lewis King and Powe I am almost certain one will make
the Final 53 .
Lastly the O-line has to show something in the run game
Jets are a Big test with an excellent front 7
They have something to prove as a group and we still
lack in overall depth .
Lets Just come out Healthy and screw the Josh Brown
haters . If he gets beat out which I doubt I think
the organisation did right in there compliance
with the rules .

Something like that, there was speculation Strahan would come out of retirement because of the injury.

Osi tore his menisus and was lost for the year in 2008, in the same game that Brett Favre more or less began as the Jets QB.
Sehorn tore his ACL in 1998.
Brandon Short hit Chad Pennington from behind and messed up his wrist, essentially ruining his season in 2003.
this is always a bad game to need to get your offense going. the Jets have one of the legit top notch D's in the NFL for years now. whether you want to move the ball or not, going against mo wilkerson, sheldon richardson and leon williams up front is tough sledding
i fully expect us to struggle offensively tonight with eli looking rusty again. not a good week to get something going on O
no doubt the OL and TEs will be under the microscope, for good reason. If they can't get out of their own way, the coaching staff will be spinning their wheels assessing the WRs and RBs.
Currie did not look good last week; imo, barring more injuries, he'd have to have a monster game tonight to really be in the mix for a roster spot

Since Phil Simms for me.

I couldn't help myself.
George, Giants-Jets preseason games usually have a good mix of fans of both teams.

Is there a worse analyst than Greg Buttle ?

Me, too. But that was washed away when Cruz took it ninety-nine yards against them.
