Anyone know why they do not broadcast them? I have had the ticket for years now and every year I have to scramble around online to find a stream and then the constant refresh when the link dies.
Why do they not broadcast the preseason games? I would imagine they could make a lot more money via advertising? Does the NFL not allow this or is this a choice by Direct TV?
In the good old days I could just point my large c-band satellite dish to the sky and pickup every Giants preseason except for when the Giants-Jets game was on local CBS-2 out of New York.
The rebroadcasts on the NFL network leave a lot to be desired as they cut out parts of the game. I believe the NFL is trying to cut deals with alternative media outlets for the preseason games. If the NFL sold a package for broadcast in conjunction with the Sunday Ticket or stand-alone I would purchase it. But I am not going pay for a live streaming service that is dependent upon my DSL line and related drop offs. Not at $99. When it was $40.00 that's what it was worth.
