Michael Boley pretty much ended his career with that hit years ago. Never been the same since that hard hit.

Dude is always hurt. Damn.

I think Schefter

was first to report it and NFL Network picked it up.
It's on the NFL Network bottom line scroll right now

Wish everyone was healthy. But with what the Giants have been through that's just the way it goes in the NFL. It's too bad.

Seems little doubt. Is there someone else?

Good for us, but never happy to see a guy's back on the line.

Get well soon, Tony.
I'd have Cassilas spy Prescott all game
DennyInDenville : 8/27/2016 2:52 pm : link
Keep JT Thomas on Zeke
We better shut down the Dak
bradshaw44 : 8/27/2016 2:53 pm : link
Hype week one.
Ouch! I know it's a division rival
David in LA : 8/27/2016 2:53 pm : link
but I can't help but feel bad for Romo. He was a worthy adversary, and always seemed like a good dude. He should really start thinking about life after football.

Why should Thomas even be on the team? Other than contract of coarse?

Twitter RapSheet
My understanding is that best-case scenario is that #Cowboys QB Tony Romo returns by mid-season. He broke a different bone than last time.

Cowboys will pick top 5 two years in a row!

really good
When he suffered that collarbone injury last thanksgiving
cosmicj : 8/27/2016 2:56 pm : link
Vs the Panthers, my first thought was that his body was done and he needed to retire. It simply wasn't that hard a hit by the defensive players. They showed his wife in the stands holding her head in worry after that play - a painful & human moment - which I took to mean that she was very concerned he was even out on an nfl field in his condition. Romo needs to retire. Its over.
Expected to miss 6 - 10 weeks
Bold Ruler : Mod : 8/27/2016 2:56 pm : link
Goal is to return Oct 30 per Peter King.
Almost remarkable how Romo has these issues
Jimmy Googs : 8/27/2016 2:56 pm : link
on such a low percentage of hits. I do feel bad for him because, but for the uniform, I like the guy and think he has plenty of talent.

Oh well, start the film review of Dak...

DRC, Jenkins, JPP and Vernon...go to work on him!

but if we cant beat them week 1.... how good can we really be?
Wow.
arcarsenal : 8/27/2016 2:58 pm : link
He should honestly just call it a career at this point.

Not going to get too excited, though. Pretty sure Prescott will still shred us in the opener.
best case scenario
Chip : 8/27/2016 3:00 pm : link
mid season return. Let the Dak Prescott era begin.
Wish this was a home game for us even more now.
Dave in Hoboken : 8/27/2016 3:00 pm : link
Rookie QB, who wasn't expecting to start Week 1, on the road, with a hot crowd on him. Ugh. Of course it has to be a Dallas home game, it's Week 1.

True. The division is there for the taking.
How much does this effect Dez

On paper, sure. But opening day, first game, at home, any team can pull off a W..Doesn't necessarily say a lot, imo
Now we're pissing our pants about facing

With the wentz vs Goff top draft pick, Dak is the starter on day 1
Lets face it
Paulie Walnuts : 8/27/2016 3:03 pm : link
few QBs improvise and freelance like Romo against us, he has consistently killed us with his scrambling. I admire the player a lot, but he needs to look at life after football

and we need to win in week #1

Definitely hurts him a little. I think it hurts Elliott too. No way teams aren't going to stack the box and force Prescott to beat them, especially early on. With Jenkins/DRC/Apple, you gotta think the Giants are going to use a lot of man coverage with Collins playing in the box week 1.
Our OL better man up.
bceagle05 : 8/27/2016 3:09 pm : link
This division should be ours for the taking.

If youve watched him play this preseason, he looks pretty damn good. An analyst said his game is like McNabb's and I thought that was right on. McNabb on that Cowboys team would be tough to deal with.

Not pissing my pants, but the kid can def play and we have no tape on him.
Tony Romo needs to take
eclipz928 : 8/27/2016 3:11 pm : link
more calcium to strengthen his bones.
Yeah, he looks good.

If anybody should do that, it should be Collins. Middle zone mirroring the qb. Qb moves towards the line, Landon moves towards the line. Qb drops back, Landon drops back and plays the intermediate routes over the middle.
He should retire
McNally's_Nuts : 8/27/2016 3:13 pm : link
Count his millions and hang out with David Wright
Be careful what you wish for
Kivorka : 8/27/2016 3:15 pm : link
Dak is athletic and we always seem to lose to the up and coming QB. Very smart move to draft him
Dak Prescott has looked good
GiantJake : 8/27/2016 3:16 pm : link
but let's not forget that defensive coordinators haven't gone out of their way to game plan and disguise things yet. The kid's still got a lot to learn.
that sucks
chris r : 8/27/2016 3:18 pm : link
but our path to the playoffs got easier.

Who knows if Dak is any good but it's hard to escape the memory of unproven QBs torching us.
This may not be a good thing for NYG
Sy'56 : 8/27/2016 3:19 pm : link
I like Prescott a lot. I think this could be a plus for Dallas.
