The Cowboys discovered a fractured verterbae in Tony Romo's back. Expected to miss 6-10 weeks. Wow
but I can't help but feel bad for Romo. He was a worthy adversary, and always seemed like a good dude. He should really start thinking about life after football.

My understanding is that best-case scenario is that #Cowboys QB Tony Romo returns by mid-season. He broke a different bone than last time.
Vs the Panthers, my first thought was that his body was done and he needed to retire. It simply wasn't that hard a hit by the defensive players. They showed his wife in the stands holding her head in worry after that play - a painful & human moment - which I took to mean that she was very concerned he was even out on an nfl field in his condition. Romo needs to retire. Its over.
few QBs improvise and freelance like Romo against us, he has consistently killed us with his scrambling. I admire the player a lot, but he needs to look at life after football
Definitely hurts him a little. I think it hurts Elliott too. No way teams aren't going to stack the box and force Prescott to beat them, especially early on. With Jenkins/DRC/Apple, you gotta think the Giants are going to use a lot of man coverage with Collins playing in the box week 1.
If youve watched him play this preseason, he looks pretty damn good. An analyst said his game is like McNabb's and I thought that was right on. McNabb on that Cowboys team would be tough to deal with.
Not pissing my pants, but the kid can def play and we have no tape on him.
If anybody should do that, it should be Collins. Middle zone mirroring the qb. Qb moves towards the line, Landon moves towards the line. Qb drops back, Landon drops back and plays the intermediate routes over the middle.
but let's not forget that defensive coordinators haven't gone out of their way to game plan and disguise things yet. The kid's still got a lot to learn.
Dude is always hurt. Damn.
Wow.

And Dak Prescott... I think Prescott will fail.. But he might not be asked to do much.

Wow.
HUGE break-no pun intended-for us.
Seems little doubt. Is there someone else?
Get well soon, Tony.
Why should Thomas even be on the team? Other than contract of coarse?
I hope Thomas is not on the team

Oh well, start the film review of Dak...
DRC, Jenkins, JPP and Vernon...go to work on him!
Not going to get too excited, though. Pretty sure Prescott will still shred us in the opener.
True. The division is there for the taking.
On paper, sure. But opening day, first game, at home, any team can pull off a W..Doesn't necessarily say a lot, imo
JFC.
and we need to win in week #1

Who knows if Dak is any good but it's hard to escape the memory of unproven QBs torching us.
