Q: Can you describe what happened on the interception?

A: I felt the screen, then J.T. (Thomas) popped the ball up and I just happened to be in right place, right time.

Q: When you got it, did you think end zone?

A: I got it, I saw some green grass and luckily I got some good blocks, helped me out a little bit. Made me look faster than I was.

Q: But nice move on the quarterback, too.

A: I didn't even see, I'll have to go back and look at it.

Q: On the overall effort of your defense, do you feel like you guys as a unit are really starting to come together?

A: Absolutely. We just play well up front.

Q: What's the next step for the defense going into preseason game number four?

A: Just to get better every day. Go out to practice and just get better every day. Keep stacking good days on top of them.

Q: When is the last time you ran with the football?

A: High school. To be honest, it's been a while.

Q: It was a pretty good move then.

A: Appreciate it.

Q: How does it feel to have a good game after missing some time?

A: It felt good to just be back. To be back and suit up. Last week I watched the game at Buffalo Wild Wings and the game before that, just watching from the sidelines. So it felt good to be back and put the pads on.

Q: Are you in a position like you’ve been before when you had to make the team as an undrafted guy?

A: I just have to control what I can. Try to stay positive and keep moving forward. Really take advantage of the initial reps when I was out. When I got back, I was able to.

Q: Is that easier said than done?

A: Like I said, you can only control what you can control. Just trust that God has a plan for you, no matter what.
