I suppose his comments from today's presser will be discussed shortly, but the takeaway is his comment that the issues on the OL are Correctable, and that it's not all on the OL. He discussed the TE poor blocking singling out Will Tye.
I don't understand, as I watch the point of attack it seems the opposing teams are swarming the ball carrier just as he gets the ball. Seems like a jailbreak on every attempt to run.
The guys up front are getting whipped and on a run between the tackles where does the TE come into play?
Maybe if he had been some sort of offensive coordinator in his past I might feel better.

i would argue you know no more than my grandmother who has recently started to watch the giants. Flowers has been okay, not great but nowhere near a bust(yet). its possible he doesnt turn out to be a LT worthy of a top draft pick but as of now he is our LT and imo he isnt doing a bad job. Jerry and newhouse arent castoffs by any means and in fact were a part of a top ten offense last season...plus they have been in the NFL so they have to have some sort of talent no? that being said we could def use upgrades to OL and to the depth but it doesnt mean we are going to suck this season...in fact im in the group that doesnt panic. if you knew this team like the back of your hand you would know we had the same personnel last season and were a top ten unit...that being said go Giants! we are going to be just fine contrary to your thoughts

Newhouse and Jerry aren't castoffs? Try asking the FO's/staffs in GB, Cincy, and Miami for their thoughts on those 2. Like Flowers, Newhouse too graded out among the 5-10 worst OT's in football last year. Jerry is "so-so" in pass blocking and absolute horseshit in run blocking. He went to the lauded LeBentley Charles OL "school" and, thus far, he should be asking for his $$ back. I've also seen plenty of "we were top 10 last year with this group". Ok. We were also 6-10. We were unable to sustain drives late to win maybe 2/3 more games, we blew in the redzone, and surrendered far too many QB pressures on Eli. There's no guarantee we're going to be a top 10 offense in 2016. Many here need to realize that. And if we aren't we won't have to look far to why.
Curious what Jerry's reaction will be as some oline guys are released across the league unless that ship has sailed.
