The "whole world" will be watching to see what Colin Kaepernick does.
Compelling arguments on both sides of this discussion, exist, but purely from a curiosity of view, this may be the biggest thing (of it's kind) since John Carlos/Tommie Smith, way-back, at the '68 Olympics.
The point of this thread is NOT to discuss the political ramifications but rather to ascertain how ESPN may handle this event and think about how the hyper-commercial NFL will maneuver itself through this situation. (Is this a "No-Win" deal, or will the NFL make lemonade out of lemons") ?
Will the old adage "all publicity is good publicity" hold ?
How many interviews will there be, who will be interviewed, Goodell ?

The country hasn't changed....but technology has, instant coverage gets endless instant opinions...right to your phone....and on it goes.
That would be a good reason to hate them even more. OV and JPP meeting at the middle would be nice!

That's about as poor an analogy as has ever been posted on BBI.
In any event, my guess is he won't be dressed for the game, so we can all be spared the drama.
With that said, by Week 2 of the season, this guy will be a memory.
But he's an idiot. If a protest is designed to bring about change, then this protest is doomed to failure. All he's managing to do is make himself look like an asshole.
