Bad scene. Bridgewater down in pocket grabbing left knee. Players freaked out, swearing and praying. Immobilized. Practice halted #Vikings

An ambulance just pulled into Winter Park, where Teddy Bridgewater was hurt in a non-contact drill during practice. #Vikings
Always liked Teddy, and from the sounds of it, he was supposed to have a big year this year. Very unfortunate and wish him a speedy recovery, not matter what the injury.
with shittier luck than the Vikings. Luck, karma, whatever it may be....that fan base SUFFERS. Every decade has its own horrible, unique narrative of pain and misery.

Unlike the Browns they actually seem to be competent in team building. They've built hell of a defense the last few years and have had an offense set with AP in the backfield.
That sucks pretty bad. Thought Vikes were going to challenge Panthers

I would be in the fetal position. This curbs your enthusiasm for the season. He was really coming on and you could see it in the preseason. Football is sometimes cruel

Browns too. Difference is the Vikings are good EVERY decade. I'd bet they are good 6 out of every 10 years. They are competitive more often than not. But they can never close and now this? I actually feel bad for the fan base.
Their best decade saw them lose 4 super bowls. It's been downhill ever since but still, they have fielded good to great teams littered with legendary talents...and heartbreaking moments abound.

I think the Jets and the Bengals could give them a run for their money.
Thing is, the Vikes need somebody who can run Norv Turner's offense. Not sure where that leads. (I don't think Philip Rivers is available.) Foles might be the best fit on the KC roster. Brian Hoyer had some success under Turner in Cleveland. He's in Chicago now, backing up Cutler and nursing sore ribs.

Neither of these teams have bad luck really they are just for the most part grossly mismanaged franchises.
The Vikings are fine in terms of overall franchise stability and respect.
The current trio of futility in the NFL is the Browns, the Lions, and the Jets. Every team in the NFL says "Hey man, at least we aren't the chargers, lions and jets"
they won a super bowl for one thing. That blows any of the 10 or so franchises that haven't won a title out of the water. Plus the Jets also field a pretty good team. They haven't been bad at all since 1997 --actually above average i'd bet--just no AFC title. That's still better than a lot of other teams.
If you want to go on the last 20 years or so the truly terrible team is the Browns. They haven't done a fucking thing and they also had their team ripped from the city only to win titles in Baltimore.
As far as good well run teams that can't close or catch a break I think the Vikings are one of a select few. I'd probably put the Chiefs in there too. But at least the Chiefs won a bowl way back when.
The injury shook everyone up to the point that the Vikings ended practice after 25 minutes.
Suddenly Mark Sanchez is a hot commodity

Yep
I actually like Glennon
Maybe. Their defense is a bear.

Hope he heals quickly.
Colin Kaepernick may have a new home - Dallas or Minnesota...

Jesus, I hope it's not some bone-thru-skin type stuff. What the hell did he do?

Yes, Dallas, after being voted down on putting decals for the police victims, will be front runners for Kaepernick's services.

The Eagles? We've at least seen the lions and chargers win playoff games somewhat recently.
