Jenkins, DRC & Apple should all be on the field before Hall. Your backup DBs need to contribute on special teams. I would like to keep Wade, Deayon, & Hunter around for awhile to see if they can develop into good pros. We might be able to keep Hall if we stash a couple of guys on the practice squad, but that leaves us with no special teams contributions from our top four CBs. I would not make Apple play on ST because he is going to be needed out there on defense far too often.

up to now, I would say no also. I believe GeorgeAdams nailed it, I would like to see them also.

I would like to see more of DD there before giving LH the starting nod.

This wouldn't be the first time we signed a vet that looked like a sure lock for a roster spot and was cut before the final 53.

He has versatility. He can play inside, outside and some FS.

By all accounts he is a great locker room presence.

DRC will miss some time this year.

That into consideration. He was brought in for a reason. He provides versaltility and veteran leadership. As of now, I would keep him because the bottom of our CB depth chart is not that great. I would rather have a guy who has been there and done that than a guy with limited upside who is younger. We have had some nice stories at the bottom of the roster but they are seriously flawed and if they have to play meaningful snaps then their weaknesses will definitely be exploited.

The Giants DB wears number 33, just like former RB George Adams did, but his name is actually Andrew Adams.

guess is he does, but from what I've seen so far, I'm not sure he should. GeorgeAdams33 correctly notes that he doesn't play ST, and you need that from your backup DBs.

better than Trevin Wade or Hunter. I'm not in a hurry to rush him out the door for any reason. More than likely, they're going to need the 4th or 5th corner on the roster to play at some point.

and Hall is one of the top 6, with some mention of him subbing at SS in a pinch.

They're already going to have a rookie in the top three. I think they want an experienced guy as the 4th CB.

He is still working his way back into football shape and he is a veteran presence. You can never have enough CB's as we have seen in the past. No reason to cut him now.

Why are we so anxious to get rid of him? He still is the best corner on the team and it isn't even close. I know his problem is staying on the field but you can't have enough good cover corners.

but the James Jones saga last year scares me away from believing productive veterans will make the team.
