Unless weather comes into play I expect both offensive units to flourish.

It's going to be hot so we don't want our defense on the field for 37 minutes again either. If they are we'll be gassed early and in trouble come the 4th quarter.

But the Saints don't have the O-line Dallas has so it probably won't be an issue.

For the revamped defense. If they can contain Bree's reasonably, my excitement level is going to begin to elevate.

Is where Vernon, JPP, Snacks, and Jenkins need to earn their new paychecks. If they rise to the occasion, we win.

Not only because we're not under the dome but simply because of the defense. Of the 11 defensive starters last year, four aren't in he NFL (Hosley, Merriweather, Kuhn and Brinkley). Vernon replaces Wynn who's back to a backup, Casillas is healthy and Collins isn't playing out of position and has a full year under his belt.

Especially for the D. If we win this game, I'm going to start feeling really confident about this squad.

Really excited to see our D against Brees. Hopefully delivers another big game.

will be sitting back giving up the underneath throws, not letting quick strikes happen. seems to be Spags strategy now, he has completely changed his stripes from all the bump and run/blitzing his 1st stint here

seems to me he was trying to emulate Jim Johnson's D in 07/08 and has now morphed into a quarters guy

Uani Unga, Trumaine McBride, Craig Dahl, Damontre Moore and George Selvie also had defensive snaps in that game. They're also no longer in the NFL. That makes 9 defensive players with snaps in that game no longer on a roster. It would've been 10 but Cullen Jenkins was just signed this week.

This year will be a different game.

By 'earn their paycheck' I mean 4 or 5 game changing plays total (sack, turnover, key penalty like against OV last week, third down stop) that slows them down and keeps them under 30 points.

I am confident the Giants D will be able to stop them more often than the other way around. I really like this match up. WRs are going to kill them.

I'm predicting, been a while since we won comfortably. We always play down to our opponents... Hope it's not but that's what I'm thinking....

My choice is to follow the NFL.com game tracker until halftime, and then we'll be in a total media blackout until around 4:30 or later. Makes me think of the days before cable.

blitzing a lot today and will live or die by the blitz IMO. Eli is not as good under a blitz and if their front 4 can't get to Eli, then they will be in trouble with our triple receiver threat. On the other side, I'm concerned about our Dline with both JPP and OV banged up! This has the making of a shootout!
