Hypothetical Rivalry- What Team has the potential to be

Elite Mobster #32 : 9/19/2016 10:08 pm
A hated rival within our division?

We are a 4 team division. We used to have the Cardinals in our division. Due to conference restructuring the Cardinals are out of our division. I was never really annoyed with the Cardinals, and a rivalry never developed.

There is true hate for the Cowboys, Washington and Philadelphia.

Question is, if we were to go back to a 5 team division, which team would be the choice, as a team Giant fans would most likely develop a true Rivalry with?

We played the Saints yesterday, but I found myself still thinking about the game next week against Washington.

To take a guess, I believe there could truly be a rivalry with The Baltimore Ravens if the league decided to switch conferences, as they did with the Seahawks, who were an AFC team. Another possibility would be the Bengals. Hate them!

Buffalo. That way, being in Rochester, I'd get to see them once a year.
Pittsburgh

It would have to be

the Pats, even though it would be a one-sided affair with us always beating them
Easy one.

Giants- 49ers, one of the biggest, if not the biggest NFL non division rivalry. It would be even more hated if it were a division game.
I wouldn't mind

Giants vs Packers !
From a geographic standpoint...

and douchbaggery, I'd say Carolina. They are a team that you really want to like, but can't. They are filled with real jerks (even with the departure of their crowned prince -- Josh Norman).
Pats, Steelers, and Jets

are hated by many already. Same with 49ers. Cinci and Baltimore seem like a bunch of thugs. Many don't like Cam in Carolina, so them as well.
Baltimore...

The geography works for Baltimore, they have had some success there with easy to hate type players in their history. Would be much easier to hate Baltimore than most other teams.

Honorable mention to the Pats, and of course, the Jets.
God I'd love to have the Stillers in our division

and Ravens.
Take out Dallas.

Hell my dad keeps saying how the Browns in his day were our big rival and to take out the Cowpukes in bring one of them.
Pittsburgh and Cleveland
aquidneck : 9/20/2016 8:15 am : link
are old time division rivals from back in the day. I'll go with one of them.
Panthers for me

I already hate them
I'll second

the 49ers. I hate them about the same as the eagles. I root for the 49ers only when they play philadelphia, just because they're not in our division.
Bengals seem like a weird team to hate.

Must be the grills on their helmets.
