but don't sound too cocky yet. we've had two close wins against a team with a rookie qb and a team that stunk last year, so we haven't exactly won at denver and carolina either.
the eagles and wentz have played well so far, give them credit. hopefully once the league gets some tape on wentz he'll start to have more problems

No, I agree too believe me I'm not talking about the Giants because who knows what they'll do. it just seems like Eagles fans think they are winning the super bowl this year.

Yes SirYesSir
RE: RE: I don't care what the Eagles, Skins or Cowboys are or look like Â
Wentz looks pretty good. His throws are on target and it looks like he feels the pressure and side steps it well. I think he's the better rookie over Dax. Dax I feel is a little over-hyped.
However, Nick Foles looked pretty good at first too. Just give teams time to research him and see how he responds.
All i know is that they've owned the giants for last few years. Giants need to beat that juggernaut (which they seem to be when playing the giants) for once now.
Their competition has certainly made them look good. I look forward to our back to back with Cleveland and Chicago. They have pretty solid defensive talent though. I think they're weak at corner but that's about it. Wentz is much better than they could have dreamed at this point. We said they're draft was all about him. Looks like a very good draft.
However, on offense Wentz might be their best player already which says something for him but not much for the rest of the unit. Their RB aren't as good as ours. I'm not sure their best WR Matthews, cracks our top 3. Their OL is average. They have good TE when they are on the field.
I think they could beat Dallas and they certainly could be be a .500 team or better. It won't be any gimme when we play them.
With regards to the Giants, the issues have been our offense sustaining anything against their defense - really their DL.
Last year the offense had 3 straight drives against their D that resulted in a TD, a fumble deep in their territory and an int deep in their territory. The Giants had them on their heels, screwed up and then fell apart
Getting a lead against them would help - seems the Giants are always playing from behind against them

Their Defense is pretty good and with that Dline, they'll give our Oline fits!! That's my concern.
I'm with you. Their defense has given the Giants fits the past few years and they look to have a good one so far this year. Having said that Bears and Browns do not pose nearly as many problems as the more elite teams they will soon be playing. Having said that I still think their defense looks to be be pretty good.
As for Wentz he looked good again. A lot of his plays however, were designed to go one way. And on the ones he had to Improvise he did pretty good. We'll see how well he does when the better teams in league have more film on him and design their schemes. One thing I will say though, he keeps running around they way he does and keeps taking the hits he took last night he won't be around for long.
Graham, Logan, Cox are all very physical players Â
on the LOS. Add in Barwin who provides decent rush skills, at least against our Tackles.
And we have a problem that our O-line will not play to that same level. This results in the Eagles LBs and Safeties moving upfield, jumping routes, run blitzing as the game goes on because they know Eli will not have time to go deep on them.

Eagles fans think they're winning the super bowl at the beginning of every year.
Sadly I think Foxy will be looking for work again this off season. Â
Any game in the NFC East is going to be tough for us always has been regardless of how good or bad the teams are. With that said I do not think Philly has been tested like they will the remainder of the season last night’s game was more or less there 6th preseason game. The Browns are without question the worst team in football and will remain that way for a while.
The Bears make me scratch my head how do they expect to win by getting rid of all their talent? The two years Fox has been their they have traded Brandon Marshall & Martellus Bennett as well let Matt Forte go in free agency. I do not see how this team will compete with anyone this year.
I think they finally figured something out the first game - early. The Eagles could not defend the Giants early in that game. the Giants ran 23 plays for 150 yards and managed a TD and 2 TO
They Giants screwed themselves, got behind, and the Eagles DL just ran over the Giants
Game 2 - They were up 27-21 and on the Eagles 15 and fumbled away the game. they had 500 yards of offense and lost
The Eagles have outscored the two teams they have played to the tune of 58-24 (34 points) The Giants 36-32 (4 points). The Eagles are doing what they need to do in order to win football games. If you want to claim the Giants are playing tougher teams...go ahead....but it's not like the Giants have beat Carolina and the Steelers.
Maybe the Eagles will challenge for the division. It's possible with a rookie QB who can play within himself and manage the game.
Man I hope the Giants don't lay an egg against Washington.

in the same series. They showed they could move the ball against Philly, but then they shat the bed with some really terrible turnovers in the 3rd quarter.
So that makes me think two things:
1. Please, God, let the Bears play that poorly against us. I know they won't, but prayer is supposed to be helpful, so there's that.
2. The Eagles are pretenders. An opponent that can take care of the football will have success against them. Please, God, let that be us. Again, prayer is useful, or so I'm told by my nation's leaders.
Wentz has real talent---- he had 3 drops on beautiful passes inside the 5, and a great seam comletion voided by a penalty. He has no turnovers and he throws some great balls.
It's the NFL...they're 2-0.
Now that the Eagles have completed their Big 10 football tour Â
Sure....What else do we have to go off of at this point? Evaluating any team after just two games is ludicrous.
Do I think the Giants have better personnel? Yes. But that means shit. What happens in the Saints game if the Giants do not block that punt. That's a 10 point swing and PERHAPS a really bad 3 turnover loss. Giants fans should be aware that one play can swing the balance of a game or even define a season.
Let it play out...Giants and Eagles fans might well crash back to Earth after next Sundays games.
It's been a proven fact the last few years, we are SCARED of Philly. We have a productive first drive then cower, like that dumb Eli cartoon. I am hoping we have a tougher D now, that will show some attitude. Along with Flowers improving, Westburg confident, they show some fight and dont get over matched like we tend to vs Philly.
Philly in the standings worries me more than Forskins or Dallas. But, to answer your post, they are just beating up on bad teams. I am however, impressed with Wentz's decision makings early on
don't find a solid run game there Defense will throttle
us . Our O-line hasn't faced a above average front 4
The Eagles are deep can rotate and stay fresh .
Unless we can keep them from scoring 17 or less
it will be tough to beat them .
It goes without saying we have problems when we play them.
Hopefully the O-line gets something consistent in the
run game .
There's exactly one guy on the entire roster who should scare anyone: Fletcher Cox. He's a game-changer, and makes everyone else on that defense better, but there's only one of him.
As for Wentz, who knows? He made some nice throws against Chicago, most of which were dropped. If Philly struck gold at QB, they will be a factor for the next ten years. It's a big "if". He hasn't done anything worth mentioning yet.
Having said all that, it wouldn't really surprise me if the Eagles swept the Giants again. Division games are a world unto themselves, and the Giants have a long history of finding inventive ways to lose to that team.
You must be Kidding... Big Jason Peters at Tackle Â

Different coaches for both teams and a rookie QB..No idea how it all turns out, but with Reid and Kelly gone, I'm not quaking in my Sedona sandals
