Im good with it. Dont have that feeling at all. Those 2007 and 2008 teams had a bunch of older guys near the end of the line and you felt like that was their last chance and they really choked and played below their talent level. This team should have been WAY better than this but they got blown to smithereens with injuries. What can we do?

I don't see us doing better than the Cardinals, but hopefully Giants will beat themselves next week. Also tiebreaker between the Cards and the Mets goes to St Louis, because of better division record, after an even 3-3 head to head games.

I think he does miss his family and his young child.
He's quickly attained Jason Bay status. At least with Bay I blame the concussion and probably PED's in Boston, but no excuse with Bruce.
My main concern with Bruce is that he's going to keep taking ABs for the Mets and he keep making outs and playing shitty defense because he's a bad baseball player. As long as he's not back next year, I'm more than happy to close the book on this and just pretend it never happened.
