Don't think we have a thread yet today. Here is my dilemma.
0-2 / Non PPR League
Wilson
L. Bell, Ingram, Corwell, Duke Johnson
Watkins, J Mathews, Snead, D. Parker, Dorsett
Jets D
Crosby PK
I lost Woodhead and picked up Crowell.
Having 2 Cleveland Browns is horrible. I don't know what to do. I feel like if I cut them both, they would not be missed. But who do I replace them with. Here are notable players.
Artis Payne
K Drake
Chris Johnson
Jordan Howard
K Dixon
Hillman
McCluster
T West
What would you do. And note we have roster limits therefore need to carry at least 4RB and 4 WR and one Flex of either RB or WR
Thanks
It looks like Gronk will be out again and rookie QBs tend to lean on their TEs
So I'm gonna Roll the Blount so I have a rooting interest in tonight's game (in addition to Texans D). I don't think 25-30 touches is out of question for him, especially if the game is close. I'll be happy with 70-90 yards. TD an added bonus.
So is the consensus Carr over Wilson for this week?
Thanks. Don't you think the Chicago situation almost like Browns. Back up qb'S? Dropping duke for Howard?
Doug Martin and Ingram hit waivers this week. It's only a 10 team league, so there are plenty of guys on waivers - Duke Johnson, Dwayne Washington, Vereen, Bilal Powell and a bunch of others.
I have Stewart, Ryan Mathews and Melvin Gordon. I assume that Stewart and Mathews will be missing plenty of time during the year.
Ingram has a tough bunch of weeks coming up after this one and Martin is out for 3. I am new to fantasy - what are the best strategies regarding stashing? Ingram looks like he will have the opportunity to go off, but not until week 13.
I am already stashing Gordon (big scare apparently averted) and have Moncrief and Michael Floyd as part of my excess WR. If Gronk plays I can cut Witten.
Thoughts?

Is McCown going? If so they may be kind of similar, but Hoyer is probably a few cuts above Kessler and Hoyer comes from that dump to the backs Pats background. he threw to Howard a couple of times in his drive Monday. A lot of people feel the Bears are souring on Langford and may get Howard more touches, while Crowell is getting the bulk with the Browns.

Despite all the shit Hoyer gets he's a pretty ideal filler/backup qb. He game managed the Texans to the playoffs. He can also support fantasy value. I don't think Jeffrey's value drops much. I'm hoping Howard pans out, that would be a clutch add for me.
I was offered either Travis Kelce or Arian Foster for Tyrelle Williams.
I have Rivers at QB right now, otherwise there would be no hesitation.
Does anyone think for Foster it would be a risk worth taking?
Kelce I'm not so interested in.

No I'd stay away from foster and he's one of my favorite players in the league. He just hasn't been good or healthy in the past two seasons.
Keep the kid and see what happens with him, if he seizes the opportunity you can have a player you start weekly.
QB - Tom Brady, Derek Carr
RB - Lamar Miller, Jamaal Charles, Spencer Ware, Jerick McKinnon, Matt Asiata, DeAngelo Williams, Dexter McCluster, Jay Ajayi
WR - Kelvin Benjamin, Marvin Jones, Michael Floyd, Victor Cruz
TE - Jacob Tamme
I'm trying to swap some of those RBs to improve at either WR and TE. Although if no trades occur, who would you drop from that roster to pickup a kicker and defense to start this week?
I think it may be Ajayi and McCluster but I also really like both of them. Foster has finished the last 3 seasons on IR and Ajayi should pick up the start this week (sharing time with Drake). While McCluster has similar skill sets to Danny Woodhead and he's averaged 41 receptions each of the last 5 seasons. He could be a really nice upside in PPR leagues playing with Philip Rivers.

One more thing, I JUST got an offer in that same league to trade Jamaal Charles, Spencer Ware and Victor Cruz straight up for Odell Beckham.
Cruz was a waiver pickup for me this week and most weeks wouldn't start, so this trade is basically the Chiefs starting RB Charles or Ware for Beckham.
I think I'm going to accept, as I like the idea of starting Beckham, Kelvin Benjamin and Marvin Jone, which Floyd on my bench.
At RB, I just need one of McKinnon\Asiata to step up and compliment Lamar Miller.
Thoughts?

Yup, I would certainly do that trade in a heart beat. Does that solve your kicker/defense problem since that would open up 2 slots?

What are the options on waivers? Those are rough options I guess Wheaton if he's played my.

Crowell is worth keeping. I'd cut Duke and pick up Jordan Howard.

Duke is not an every down back and loses value in a non-PPR. Howard at least could be the every down back if he were to take the job from Langford, who is in the doghouse a little right now. No guarantee that Howard ends up with the lead role of course, but at least there's a possibility.

As a Foster owner in a couple of spots this year, I will say don't do it. He's a guy that sounds great in theory until you are dealing with him on your roster. Thankfully I don't have to count on him anywhere, and will be looking to deal him where I can if he ever has a good game.
