First it was that the Giants were stupid to spend all that money in free agency...it never works out.

Yup and also funny that Vernon isn't even putting up gawdy stats and "living up to the huge contract" and yet every thing in nyg land is fine. Why? Because he's playing well. That's all the need from these guys. They don't have to lead the NFL in sacks of ints they just have to stabilize the position and stay on the field. Funny how all I read all summer was how difficult it would be for Vernon to live up to expectations. Not quite. Vernon can finsh the year with 5 sacks but he has 35 hurries and holds the poa like he has we will take it and run.
