Went on sale this morning, they adde a show Friday. Ticketmaster was a debacle. Finally got through and got good seats for Friday. Anyone else going? never seen them before, super pumped
My friend was pretty stressed because the site sucked but she got the tix she wanted.
I haven't been a big fan since Blood, Sugar...and haven't seen them since they hit Rochester with Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam back in 93 or so. The new release is pretty cool though.
If you've never seen or heard the opening band -- Trombone Shorty -- do NOT miss them. Fantastic live band that could very well blow the Peppers away.
Check how many tix are on stubhub already, and look at how amazing the seats are. Ticketmaster is a ticketbot paradise...
I was considering buying 4 more to sell but all I could get was high up in the 200s and wasn't worth the risk and hassle to make maybe 30 bucks a ticket.
The difference with this was there was basically no presale. Others have had legit presales.
but lately it seems worse. It used to be you could log on right away and at the very least find tickets up in the cheap seats - even for the most popular concerts. Lately, it's been immediate sell-outs.

Blame TM if you want, but the venues control the inventory, not TM. Most venues have figured out how to throttle inventory to drive dynamic pricing leverage.

This. The industry is a shitshow.
