4th and 9 at WSH 35
(11:20 - 4th) T.Way punt is BLOCKED by R.Okwara, Center-N.Sundberg, ball out of bounds at WAS 18. Penalty on WAS-T.Murphy, Illegal Bat, offsetting, enforced at WAS 35 - No Play. Penalty on NYG-A.Adams, Unnecessary Roughness, offsetting

2nd and 14 at WSH 21
(6:54 - 4th) (Shotgun) K.Cousins pass incomplete short left to P.Garcon [O.Vernon]. PENALTY on NYG-O.Vernon, Roughing the Passer, 15 yards, enforced at WAS 21 - No Play

Hitting eli in the head is OK - but apparently you can't hit Cousins in the chest so his helmet shakes.

Vernon penalty was the worst. It just killed the Giants.

The Richburg penalty that led to him getting kicked out was pure over-officiating. That wouldn't be a penalty in any other game or if he was yelling at any other player.

That negated a blocked punt and over 50 yards of field position.

However, the worst aspect of the game is how careless our franchise QB is with the football, particularly late in games. Decision making is simply baffling at times.

I say that because it wasn't needed. Vernon was hustling and trying to make a play so I will not fault him. Adams was just plan stupid. No reason for it.

They got down to the same spot on the field on the drive. At that point it cost them nothing. What convinces you it ends up any different than the FG they ended up with. Pure speculation they would have scored a TD.

1. Vernon ruffing the passer (there was no head contact)
2. Flowers facemask (even the announcers questioned that)
3. The play that got Rich ejected (was a clean hit)
4. etc.

was a worse call than the 2nd Richburg unsportsmanlike. The play was pretty much over when the flag came flying in.

Why isn't anyone mentioning the play towards the end of the first half when the offical moved the ball from a half yard short of the 1st down to a half yard past the first down? WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED THERE???????????????????????

I noticed that as well. The Ref pushed the ball forward even further than the ball carry had done after he was tackled. I think it was inside the 2 minute warning, which meant the team could challenge the spot. But you are correct, he was stopped a half yard from the first down maker, while on the ground he pushed it out to the marker, then the ref spotted the ball about a yard past the marker. I was screaming at the TV at that point

the blocked punt one was at leasy a totally legit foul, though

It sucked, but Adams absolutely committed a penalty. The other two were utter garbage from the refs.
