Giants have ever had. However, he made some really poor interceptions today. The last one was a killing and he should not have thrown that ball. Two time outs and a min to go. You can't have that happen
of the year so far. Still would like to know the story on the game killer, but both picks were also good plays by the redskin DB'S.
Eli got fucking drilled when Jerry took a play off amd blocked no one. I mean he was rocked into the ground and his head snapped into the ground too , maybe it had an impact. If Romo ever got hit like that his chest would likely dissolve and his head sundered from his body, Eli just pops up and takes the next snap.
You watched the game and came away with one reason we lost?
Completion on a punt...poor punt coverage....kickoff out of bounds...3rd and 15 goes for td....Tye gives up on a pass.....stupid penalty on a blocked punt...Vereen putting it on the ground again....penalties, penalties, penalties.....OBj drop.....Eli had two int's on first down, and should have had another on first down....the DL falling apart on the last drive.....a complete team loss....
But they were at critical moments in the game and were only one of the reasons we lost. If we want to identify reasons, then talk about stupid penalties, lack of execution and undisciplined play. Eli also made some very good throws and I'm not ready to put this loss on him.
I'd like to see Eli and the rest of the team bounce back next week in Minnesota where we played like crap last year.

Eli's worst

It happens.....but while both defensive guys made plays, those were balls that should not have been thrown, because neither was open, and they were first down passes....he threw another first down pass that should have been intercepted, but was dropped....Eli has thrown too many int's on first down, in his career....
But he had plenty of help, in losing this game...it's not all on him....
And you guys are killing him. Kill the defense for not stopping the skins.
Crowder and DeSean killed them. The two penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct were Defensive players.
But Richburg is not smart to lose it too. Young teams do these things.

His Interception killed their final drive. He threw a redzone interception and nearly had two them if not for the DB getting control of the ball while on the white mark. He had another near red zone interception when Norman nearly came up with the ball.
He also got bailed on a fumble which was recovered.
made mistakes for sure, but there was plenty of criticism to go around.
One thing that frustrated me is that for the second game in a row we faced a depleted secondary and yet we refused to challenge the defense down the field.

Yeah, doesn't seem like McAdoo likes to exploit the vertical game as much as we've come to expect and enjoy with Eli over the years.
Also doesn't seem to go for the big strike right after a big turnover for the other teams they used to. I always liked it when they so often went for a big pass when the defense is forced to quickly take the field unexpectedly after the other teams turns it over.
Could've thrown 5 INTs and 2 fumbles. You can't do that as the QB. Throwing for 350 against a soft zone with great WRs isn't impressive when you have 7 potential turnovers along the way. He did lose us the game, IMO.
But he was hardly THE REASON the Giants lost. There is plenty of blame to go around.
And honestly, Eli should have been picked two more times, plus the questionable end zone pick.
That's three. Plus the two he did throw.
That's five.
The first one wasn't his fault.
Yep ... Eli was ready to signal TD ...
and also the near ones that count against his stats to the naysayers ... when a receiver runs the wrong route on a timing pattern ... the QB is not the problem ...
The near one in the end zone was right in the receiver's hands who got outmuscled ... maybe not the throw to make to the young RB ... but he's thrown that same ball to many other receivers over the years successfully ...
in the other thread blaming Eli for this loss? There is nothing new here. Do you guys even read the other thread titles before starting your own? Are you just completely ignorant to message board etiquette?

Or could have been running out the clock if Vernon does get called.
Again look at the defense the Skins shredded.
Three games in a row now. Giants might have won if that call gets made. It stopped a drive. He is not perfect but the NFL refs SUCK. They protect the D-lineman on Flowers head "touch" and Cousins gets the call on OV hit "near the head". Np call on Eli again though.

Read my thread again. I never placed blame on Eli for today's loss. I said in the overall scope of things, he might be the "problem".

speaking of abortions, your mother should've had one =p
of people defending his fucking interceptions. I've never seen a QB have more "it was the receivers fault, not his" interceptions than this guy. At some point it has to be his fucking fault. Fuck man. Get your fucking shit together.

and that OL did him no favors. I would have liked to have seen more shots downfield, but that would have required having at least 2 seconds of protection, which he wasn't afforded pretty much all afternoon.
Sure looked a lot like the Giants just figured they'd turn up and win yesterday. Let's hope that gives them a reminder that nobody in the NFL is good enough to get away with that anymore, let alone them.
I love Eli, but true... ultimately the pick was the reason Giants lost
Despite all the mistakes that happened in the game, Giants were in a good position to drive for the W. They were in a position to overcome those mistakes.
Then Eli throws a dumb INT on 1st down, with plenty of time on the clock with 2 TOs at the team's disposal. He was under no pressure. That was it!! Thats how the Giants lost

If the cardinals board wants palmer gone...
If the panthers board is saying cam was a 1 year wonder..
If titans fans regret drafting mariotta...
If jags fans are looking to trade bortles....
If the steelers are wondering when ben will stop turning it over.
If Texans fans are regretting signing osweiler...
Then I wonder if...
Packers fans are happy knowing rodgers is still pretty good...
Redskins fans are happy kirk can still throw it.
Colts fans realize that luck still has it...
Two things for certain...
Jets fans want a new qb
Some giants fans blame eli entirely for losses.

One play never wins or loses a game. Id argue the 5 personal fouls, dropped TD, no pass rush, horrific special teams all played all role too.

Never said that, and thats a tired BBI canned response to any sort of criticism of Eli. I did however say "Get your fucking shit together" and not sure how anyone could disagree with that.
I can't understand how people are pinning this loss on Manning's shoulders. He messed up at the end there but as many others have said, it took everyone working together to lose this one.
Sucks to think we were up 21-9 and so close to ending the Skins season.

True, but like I said, they could have been overcome had Eli not thrown that INT.
Listen, I'm a huge fan and almost always defend Eli, but the timing of that pick was the dagger.
Eli should have not had to bring us back.
Defense lost this game. DRC Apple hurt really hurt us.

If I had to pick the biggest reason it would be an undisciplined game with far too many costly penalties.
Just too hard to overcome all of them.

I knew OBJ was going to be upset on that Tye interception play because he was wide open right before for an easy score. He blew right by Norman.

Got lucky at the half Cousins took the sack.
