T Bobby Hart

Postgame vs. Washington, September 25, 2016

Q: How do you feel coming in here?

A: We just have to tighten it up as a team. It’s on us, as players and as men, to be disciplined out there. That’s something we just can’t have, so go back to work, tighten it up, and be better.

Q: How shocking was it for you to see Weston Richburg get ejected from the game like that?

A: Well, you know, Weston is a very passionate player. I didn’t see what happened so…in the course of a game when the emotions are high like that, you just have to keep your composure. Weston is a great guy and I’m sure he knows. I’m sure it hurts him just as bad as it hurts everyone else, so I’m sure Weston had no ill intent for what he did but we just continue to get better.

Q: Did it change anything for you guys? I mean, how much did it change for you guys?

A: It didn’t change with Brett being there. He did a great job. He prepares well every day in practice like all of us do, so when Brett came in it was just we continued to keep it rolling.

Q: Bobby, did you feel you guys lost control in the second half there with all the penalties?

A: You know, I’ll have to go back because in the course of a game you don’t really get a chance to view it as you guys do, so I didn’t really have a chance to look at it from that point of view.

Q: How do you think you held up personally? It was only your second career start at right tackle against a pretty good player.

A: You guys have a better idea than me. You know, you go watch film and I’m sure there is room for improvement. So I’ll watch film and grade myself after I do that.

Q: What kind of challenge did he present to you?

A: He’s a great player, man. Definitely in the top tier of the league.

Q: What did you notice that makes him that?

A: He’s just relentless, great pass rush, in all aspects of the game, very football savvy. He doesn’t take himself out of plays. He makes you block him. He’s a great player.

Q: What was the atmosphere like in here after the game, first loss of the season in a tough one like that?

A: You never want to lose. All of us are competitors. We work real hard in practice, so for the game to turn out the way it did, it just hurt us, but it’s for the better.

Q: Do you feel personally that going against Kerrigan today made you a better player than maybe you were last week?

A: Oh yeah definitely, but I go against JPP every day in practice so…
Thought he played well.

Know he had the one sack when the DE got knocked down then scrambled back from behind to get Eli. Thought he and Jerry blocked well on runs.
Really didn't hear Kerrigan's name called much

during the game. Maybe he was in a lot of the action I couldn't tell.

He did practically nothing. I think the back was the one sack Hart gave up.

Think the left side gave up more pressures than the right, iirc.
