The line he played for in 2013 was so bad it got the O Line coach fired, the left tackle traded, a center traded a guard cut. He is healthy and in shape.

Jennings, Rainey, Darkwa and Perkins are all better than 2016' Ray Rice who has been 3 years out with issues off-the-field. He will never play again in the NFL.

Maybe, maybe not
If this scenario is "maybe, maybe not" then why not just play Nassib? That's how ridiculous Rice coming here would be.
Still have a 4-pack of RBs

Forget about Rice, I am worried about our 4 pack...
Just how bad is the thumb injury for Jennings?
Darkwa seemed to have survived a game without injury, but I don't think he can carry the load...
no idea if he's back in shape, but i doubt it. Wish we had a guy like Tolbert.
Huh? Williams came into camp slimmed down and in the best shape of his career. Currently he is on SD's PS, so I doubt he is sitting around getting fat.

But then they signed him to their PS earlier this week.
Yep, he passed through waivers and the Giants had a chance to add him and didn't. I guess they could still claim him off the PS in SD and add to their active roster, but we've been here before, he's not an NFL RB.
he's been a model

citizen other than sucker punching his wife and dragging her limp unconscious body by her hair out of an elevator.
on video.
tough to recover from that, especially with the video.
plus he hasn't taken a snap in 2+ years if somehow you could get past the DV.
Lastly, I believe there are better options.
Besides my Buddy who is a diehard Ravens fan said in his last season or two Rice was the reason they didn't
make the playoffs .
He probably would do ok but I doubt we would stoop
to that level now the Cowboys on the other hand
wouldn't think twice if the injuries piled up ..
Cox or Chevy Chase?

How do you know how healthy and in shape he is?
