It's likely been posted but in the thread aftermath following a bad loss, I just can't find it. To clarify; I am not saying there should have been a flag as I don't know what for. I simply want to know if anyone can figure out just what Norman was trying to accomplish by lifting Beckham up and carrying him towards the sideline (and the ref)?
Was he trying to carry him out of bounds before his feet touched? Is that even allowed? I know you can push a player out before they can get 2 feet in bounds but carry them out of bounds? Norman wasn't going for the ball that wasn't there. He actually, intentionally, stopped his fall, lifted him up higher, and carried him.
Also, why not, for the few people that said Norman should have been flagged. What the hell for? Holding? Taunting? Improper hand placement? Sexual Assault? What?

Then Norman set him down without piledriving him because the ref was right there, and would've obviously flagged him for doing anything else.

Yes this makes the most sense. Thanks. I guess I was overlooking the obvious.
Of course, he could have also been trying to needle Beckham into reacting himself. Good chance that was part of it as well.
Is your keyboard stuck on stupid? Between this and the Ray Rice thread, that would appear to be the case.
