So Bryant won't practice today, and Jones said yesterday they hadn't done an MRI yet.
Now today the Cowboys are awaiting the results of an MRI.
It will be interesting how this plays out. It looked awkwardly bad live, but he did come back and play.
Has the doctor called back? - (

He is not the Dez Bryant the NFL feared anymore.

Jason Garrett says Dez Bryant has a hairline fracture in his knee but calls it day by day, week by week thing. Hopeful he can play vs 49ers

Garrett called it a "day by day, week by week" thing, so who knows what that means. If we were to simply make an educated guess, we'd say Bryant doesn't play Sunday. Hairline fractures in the fibula, which is at the base of the leg rather than the knee, often require multiple weeks of recovery. Bryant didn't practice Wednesday and will likely be a game-time decision Sunday.
If this was the play it happened on, seems like he should be happy it wasn't worse.
If he is, I want in on those leagues.
Bryant underwent an MRI Wednesday that revealed the receiver suffered a hairline fracture of the tibial plateau on his right knee, sources said. This is where the tibia connects to the knee.
It never made sense why the Cowboys would wait three days after the game before performing the MRI. It does now. The players were off Monday, even though injured players are required to report for treatment. That's why the MRI was then scheduled for Tuesday. But since Bryant missed team meetings and showed up so late to the facility, the club was unable to conduct an MRI, sources said.
The Cowboys don't have an MRI on site.
Club sources said that Bryant has been fined. The amount is undisclosed.
