Sorry to have wasted your time. I enjoyed it and thought others might as well, less as a scientific piece and more as an exercise in self-reflection. Judging the reactions on BBI it seems maybe it isn't as interesting as I thought it was.

Don't take it personally. I'm insulting the fuck head author of the piece who thinks he's engaging in some lofty albeit tongue in cheek enterprise. I would say sorry to have an opinion that doesn't conform to what you want on your thread, but I'm not actually sorry.

I kind of thought more people would find it interesting (like I did) but it really hasn't drummed up much discussion - so I seriously wonder if it was worth posting.

There is no love lost between myself and Kulish. Not even close. And while I dont agree with him making fun of your age, if it is known that he is in recovery, that is NOT something to mock someone for.
I have an uncle in recovery and he is very close to me and his immediate family. My father and I almost triggered him this summer and that almost broke,my heart. Fortunately, his coping,mechanisms and strength are well developed at this point and he is still sober. He also misses out quite a bit in social and family gatherings because it was important to him to remain sober because there is no middle ground for him. Its very hard and we are very proud i have also had another uncle die as a result of consumption issues but only after he completely fractured his family and giving his youngest his disease and mental trauma as a result of his problem. I myself am not an alcoholic (yet) but definitely abuse it.
Point is, if Kulish is struggling with this issue and made it known to BBI, your going after him for it is a big mistake and, honestly, cruel. Yes, his making fun of your age is wrong, but younger coworkers do it to me all the time and my reponse to them is "you'll ne lucky to make it to my age." I dont respond by pointing out the younger girls weight problem or the meathead's employment prospects. I rose above it.

No matter, you've got plenty of time to dream about your rebuild having only 4 days left in your season. You should be considered playoff contenders within 5 or 6 years so the start of the 2020 decade should bring some form of optimism.
