the airport is further out and you'll either need a taxi, uber (maybe you'll get a self driving), or car rental, but it's also cheaper. The Omni is a decent place that isn't TOO expensive. Right downtown near a bunch of the typical Pittsburgh sights.
If you come and want, in my opinion, the best Americano restaurant in SWPA, definitely hit up Fatheads. If nothing else, their beer is phenomenal. May I suggest a Headhunters IPA? Or depending on your tastes, they may have their Holly Jolly spiced ale by then.
If you stay at the Omni and need a coffee, head over to Market Square and hit up Nicholas Coffee. Grab a pound of the Jamaican High Mountain beans for a killer cup at home.
I really need to find someone back here to go to the game with me... Fatheads - ( New Window )
This weekend. We are all staying until Monday. The bride and groom are steeler fans so we are going to the Sunday night game against the chiefs (only reason I'm going is because we play Monday). I'm staying at the Wyndham downtown. I've actually stayed there a few times. It's great, you can just walk across the bridge to the stadium.
There is a busway nearby to get downtown very quickly. Ive heard good things.
Ace Hotel and Hotel Monaco are two other options for newer hotels that are really nice and reasonably priced from what I've heard. Hotel Monaco is downtown.
Ton of great restaurant options across the city specifically downtown and in the neighborhoods of lawrenceville and the Strip District. If your looking for recommendations I can give some suggestions. I second Fat Heads if you're on the south side. Urban tap is another fun one over there.
because you can't run on Pittsburgh and the secondary will have heavy traffic most of the game.
You're welcome.

Otherwise, stay downtown and you can walk to the game for more money.

I'm psyched to go. Anyone know if they display the SB trophies at the stadium?
We know why you're going!
