Practice/Injury Updates: Berhe Not at Practice

Per Rannan:

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (groin) and Eli Apple (hamstring) did work on side with trainers. Nat Berhe (n/a), Marshall Newhouse (calf) and Darian Thompson were not at practice. Giants really short on safeties. RB Rashad Jennings tried working with what appeared to be a wrap instead of a cast.

Although Grant is nominally a corner, the Steelers toyed with converting him to safety, and the idea goes back to his pre-draft scouting reports.

Is Justin Currie healthy? IIRC, he was actually waived later than Bennett or Taylor.
Bennett Jackson or Cooper Taylor, that is.

Yeah, I know, but it would be a short term solution. Need someone back there that already knows the defense. This could become disastrous. I really hope we see D Thompson back soon.

as much as the concussion protocol causes frustration for fans, it is a more enlightened approach to player safety.

True, but my headaches used to be due to the mix of 13 or so beers and cocktails I had the night before, not bc of several high speed head on head collisions with NFL size running backs and receivers

that DRC plays. He has a history of having a nagging thing every once in awhile but usually never misses a game because of it. Considering the injury doesn't sound too bad, I think he suits up.
