Midtown restaurants

I will be in Manhattan in October for the Giants/Ravens game and I am looking for a good casual place to eat a late lunch in midtown. Suggestions?
Not being facetious,

but you can walk into any number of countless sidewalk cafes (ethnicity of your choosing) and enjoy a great meal..
the game is 1 pm, so when would you have a late lunch, at 4pm?

You would need to provide way more information if you want any real input, like where you are staying, what type of place you are looking for etc.

A casual lunch place is like 20 on every block in midtown.

I am staying in NJ near the stadium but I will be in Manhattan on Saturday. I realize that I could just walk into one of hundreds of places but I am just looking for suggested places (between for example 34th st and central park) of any type of food (e.g., steak) that someone could personally recommend based on having eaten there before.

trap, I don't know, but the prime rib sandwich at Eataly is something I've walked 15 blocks for in sub-zero weather.

it's that good.

I will second that! The simplest of ingredients but the most delicious sandwich.

I believe Carnegie is closing for good soon. Better hurry and get your last sandwich in.

Not even close to the best. Katz' haas the best pastrami sandwich by miles. I don't even know that Carnegie would be in 2nd place.
