Jenkins to shadow Diggs Monday night

T-Bone : 9/30/2016 12:30 pm
Per Roto:

The Bergen County Record's Art Stapleton expects Giants CB Janoris Jenkins to shadow Stefon Diggs on Monday night.

The Giants are expected to be without both CBs Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and first-rounder Eli Apple due to injuries. It makes sense to have Jenkins trail Diggs any time he's lined up on the outside, with Leon Hall covering Diggs when he's in the slot. Jenkins and Hall have graded out as the GIants' two-best cover corners at Pro Football Focus, both being in the top-20 out of 104 qualifiers. Diggs is still locked in as a strong WR2 who should be funneled targets.

Makes sense...

McAdoo is resulting to following the Redskins gameplanning and press management.
My sources also tell me

JPP is expected to line up over the Vikings RT and Olivier Vernon will line up over the Vikings LT, unless they switch positions, formations or come out of the game for a breather.
Makes a ton of sense as they're both similar athletes,

And I'm sure it's no mystery to Minnesota, however why broadcast it? Unless it's the Giants form of Strategic Communications!

that Art Stapleton expects this to be the case, not that it is the case.

LOL! That's funny because I thought the same thing. Figured it was Giants news though and so posted it.
Roto reports from a fantasy perspective

they report who may cover fantasy relevant receivers so fantasy owners can set their line up. They do this for every time.
I think it's worthy of a discussion

whether or not he should.

They move Diggs around all over the place. He will be really tough to shadow and a harder cover than a guy like Dez, IMO. Diggs is the real deal. Dude runs great routes, can lineup outside or inside, great hands and deadly once he catches it.
Trevin Wade on Stefon Diggs is a disaster in the making.

Jenkins won't shut him down, but he's at least a professional starting corner.
Pretty much a no brainer

After they had him cover Bryant. Now, with both Apple and DRC hurting it seems an even more obvious move. Diggs is pretty much their only offensive threat.

TE is pretty good and we can't cover TE's.....forever.
we

have a big advantage in our WR's vs their secondary...if we win that's how we do it.
