"It's hard for me a little bit. I have a lot of respect for the kids who are out here fighting. But it's hard for me to understand why we have to go to war, why kids have to kill kids around the world," Noah said after Friday's practice. "So I have mixed feelings about being here. I'm very proud of this country. I love America but I just don't understand kids killing kids around the world."
Noah added: "At the end of the day, I'm not anti-troops. It's just not comfortable for me to see kids going out to war and coming back having seen what they've seen, having done what they've done. It's sad for me. It's sad for me because they're just sent out for things that I don't really want to get into it to be honest with you. It's hard for me." |
Ok, I'm all for freedom of speech and expression, but Noah is coming off like a moron in this instance, when there are photos of him yukking it up with the President, who is actually more directly responsible for our foreign agendas than West Point.

Agree. I don't think that narcissist could have squeezed in another "I" or "me" despite how much he loves himself.
Think about the contrast between the students at West Point and most of the rest of their generation.

Forget about it MG. It's a whole other world of beliefs and responsibilities.
Agreed.
Plenty of people care, it's a massive issue right now. Atleast he did this on his own time, but that's where defending him stops. I don't agree with the message it sends but he's free to do what he wants. I'd have a problem if he did this during a Knicks game.

But seriously, so he didn't want to go, does it really matter for what reason? It's his choice.
Let people protest anything they want, it's their right. The fact that the media covers it is the confusing part.
