Phil Mickelson is a joke. Has an excuse and a finger to point for everything. For someone with his talent, it's a shame his heart doesn't match his mouth.
And I was always a Phil guy during the Tiger/Phil battles.
Who'd have thought Jordan Spieth would be the weakest player on the team. I'd play him against Andy Sullivan tomorrow.
Spieth hasn't been the same since his meltdown at Augusta. He still hasn't' fixed his 2 major problems: That miss to the right and lack of distance off the tee. Now he's got the Master's Meltdown on his mind. He's could take a big fall next season.

I agree the Master's meltdown has scarred him badly. I don't worry about distance. He'll never have it more than Tour average. His short game is very shaky.
Euros will make it very close tomorrow. US needs 5 wins.
I expect Phil, Holmes, and Spieth to lose. On the fence with Kuchar.
Expect Rory and Stenson to win. Westwood and Sullivan are most vulnerable for the Euros.
On second thought, Spieth on Rose might be doable.
The picks and matching will be interesting. I might sacrifice a weak player on McIlroy and concede the win. Stenson and Phil might be interesting, but DJ would be my choice vs Stenson.
Match 1: Patrick Reed (USA) vs. Rory McIlroy (EUR), 11:04 AM

Match 5: Jimmy Walker (USA) vs. Rafael Cabrera Bello (EUR), 11:48 AM
Match 6: Phil Mickelson (USA) vs. Sergio Garcia (EUR), 11:59 AM
Match 7: Ryan Moore (USA) vs. Lee Westwood (EUR), 12:10 PM
Match 8: Brandt Snedeker (USA) vs. Andy Sullivan (EUR), 12:21 PM

Match 10: Brooks Koepka (USA) vs. Danny Willett (EUR), 12:43 PM
Match 11: Matt Kuchar (USA) vs. Martin Kaymer (EUR), 12:54 PM
Match 12: Zach Johnson (USA) vs. Matt Fitzpatrick (EUR), 1:05 PM
It seemed to me that putt from the 17th in the morning session stayed with him. He had played well until then. It burned the hole and missing it cost the US team a halve.
The emotions of this format are such a roller coaster. Managing them, having a short memory and staying in the moment are key.
Missed the shortest putt I have seen in professional golf in a long time Unbelievable!
I guess you didn't see Ernie Els 4 putt in the (I think) Masters?
But yes they were 2 big time chokes! I'd love to see him with a pressure putt. That guy has been the biggest choke of all time. How many times has this guy held a lead going into Sunday and he hasn't won anything!
If they can't seal the deal with this lineup will it ever happen. The Euro powerhouse lineup: Wood, Sullivan, Fitzpatrick and mightily struggling Kaymer, Willett & Westwood.

I dio recall that now and it wasn't a four putt it was a SIX-putt!

Got deleted somehow, anyway I do recall that now but it was a SIX-putt!
F'n disgusting how some "fans" feel entitled to act so boorishly.
Playing with Snedeker
And I was always a Phil guy during the Tiger/Phil battles.
Which Ryder Cup are you watching?
Exactly. Love afraid of Michelson's mouth.
Bad luck for Speith. Great put by the Spainard from the rough.
Yup, they're just about to cap off a titanic choke.
Westwood with a massive choke on 18 to give that match to the US 1 up

I cant see the US finishing less than 16-12
