Yesterday was brutal for me. I got KILLED in one league 195-115. The other I sweated out all last nights game. Julio gets me 45 points. The rest of my team stunk the bed. I did not take the lead till about 2:00 left in the 4th when they finally gave the ball to Ware and he broke a 34 yard run.
I will be 3-1 in both leagues. Going into week 5 byes.
Cam, Sims, and Snead really shit the bed for me.
Had I have gone with my gut and subbed Graham in over Snead I would have been golden, but that's fantasy. Speaking of Graham, how bout him? I think he will be a weekly starter for me moving forward.
Brees - ok
Miller and Forte - blah
Landry and Beasley - double blech
Howard - decent
Bailey - another missed FG
Chiefs - yeah, well ya know.
Still get Beckham but I have no prayer. Still waiting for my top 3 picks to get into the end zone.
One league is way out of reach, the guy also had huge games from Will Fuller, and other players I can't remember, but it's out of reach.
The other league I have a glimmer of hope, PPR and I need 66 points (to tie) from Eli, Beckham, Shepard, and Giants D.
That would be something like:
Eli: 200 yards and 2 TDs: 20 pts
Beckham: 6 catches, 80 yards and 1 TD: 20 pts
Shepard: 6 catches 60 yards and 1 TD: 18 pts
Giants D: under 20 points allowed, 2 sacks, 1 pick: 9 pts
= 67 points
possible, but unlikely
I have only one TE on my roster and that is Julius Thomas. I tried picking up another TE but was outbid. I was contemplating trading for another TE but that guy was injured. I am up by a few points with Beckham and Josh Brown against McKinnon and the Giants D. Hopefully I can pull that out.
I am down by 52 points in another league with Eli and the Giants D left. I truly doubt that happens. It would be awesome if it does though.
In another I am down 12 points with Walsh and the Giants D against McKinnon. Not looking good.
In my other one I am getting destroyed by 43 points with just the Giants D left. Not happening. Haha.
The first three weeks I was mostly unlucky, losing by only an average of less than 5 points. But this week I got spanked. My opponent had Matt Ryan, and most of my team couldn't smell a touchdown let alone score one. To say I am bummed out, is putting it mildly. Pity party for Bradley.
The Lions game + Cooks drove me nuts. Need 35 from Orleans and Rudolph tonight lol
At least I have Brady coming back next week

a bad week too**
Winning by 30 with my opponent having a field goal kicker left.
My opponent had Julio Jones and Michael Crabtree.
Thank you for reading but 20 years of Fantasy Footall I broke the "never bench your studs!" I hope this prevents my BBI friends from a similar fate.
+1
He and Gronkowski have combined to give me 8 points total in 2 weeks. Add in Cooks and they gave me 13 for my 3 top guys over two weeks. Still won again because I got lucky. Kelvin Benjamin at least scored a TD. Much better than the goose egg he got week 3.
I need help going forward. I have a ton of injured guys - Decker, Moncrief, Martin, Stewart and Ingram and Cooks will be on the bye. Going to have to waive somebody I like.

is dead to me, and apparently Brock as well.

Unless you're in a deep league, I think it's Moncrief. But wait as long as you can, because there is still a chance that Decker is placed on IR. I waived Moncrief shortly after the injury because I have several injured I wanted to retain and needed to make an add. Nobody has touched him (10 team league). I do expect that eventually someone will pick him up, but probably about a week before he's expected to return.
TL/DR: Waive Moncrief.
I need about 38 points from Eli, Beckham, and Giants Def. Sounds like a lot, but just one 25 yard TD from Eli to Beckham is 15.5 points by itself. Formula is at least 20 fantasy points from Eli, at least a dozen from Beckham, and at least 6 from the Defense... entirely doable.
My scorecard is:
12 Team "pro" league: 'W' 3-1
10 Team standard money league: 4-0
10 Team keeper money league: 1-2, need the 38 points to improve to 2-2 (injuries have hit hard).
6 Team friends "for fun" league: 1-3 (bad luck, posting good scoring weeks but running into other team's good weeks, too).
Pitta
Snead
I got some good numbers from:
Antonio Brown
Bengals Defense
Justin Tucker
I got Darkwa and Beckham tonight. They would have to score 60 points for me to win... yeah, that'll happen.
Of course, looking at that delicious matchup, and with T. Benjamin in a premium passing offense with a good passing QB, I recommended him.
Benjamin has his worst game of the season, just 48 yards, no TD, and a lost fumble, 2.8 fantasy points.
Pryor only gets 46 yards receiving, and -6 rushing, but hits paydirt with a score, so 10.0 fantasy points.
Fuller goes off on Tennessee, with 81 yards and a TD, plus a return TD, for 20.10 fantasy points.
Well... that's fantasy football for you. I did have Fuller playing in one league, so at least I benefitted a little. Traded him for Shepard in another league straight up, and the guy I traded him to didn't start him... started Benjamin instead, and lost by 13. Would've won by 4. Ouch.
Depends on who your other WRs are and the scoring system in your league.
I just gotta figure out if I want to keep Michael Floyd.
It really depends on your league settings and your roster. What type of league... PPR/Standard? Are you deep at receiver? Who do you have at the TE position currently?
You said Julio and 1... is this a keeper league? I think a first rounder is too steep for you to give up, but depending on the other questions above, I would negotiate to a 4th or a 5th. Possibly as high as a 3rd, but it really depends on your situation. Julio's stock is, of course, way up after yesterday. Good time to capitalize (also not necessarily a bad idea to just enjoy the ride with him).
No he is not. That RB situation is very fluid in Baltimore, and he could be relegated to the bench as soon as week 6. This is not the week to blow your waiver priority.
Agreed.
I have Arian Foster and am not too worried about dropping him as I have Gurley, Gordon, Michael, and Martin.

No.

Keeper league? I'd pick up Wentz just in general based on who your own backup QB is anyway. Granted 3-game sample, but he looks legit. Like I wish he wasn't on the Eagles legit.
I don't know that I'd drop Arian Foster for him, but I dropped Justin Forsett for him and felt good about it.

Playing #1 seed this week. They have Drew Brees (bye) and no other QBs. Should I pick up Carson Wentz to deny her a quality QB? This would leave them with Winston, Tannehill, and other less than ideal options.

Non-keeper, PPR. QBs are Ryan / Manning.
Is WR John Brown worthy of a number 1 waiver claim??
I have J Jones, Landry, Cooper, Benjamin currently but was relying on Josh Gordon as depth/starter, Michael Thomas and Tavon Austin are my bench guys. Should I use number 1 waiver on John Brown?

He's a feast or famine guy IMO. You have a solid 1-2 punch with Jones and Cooper. So really he's a bye-week guy or potential flex play. If he's the best available, get him, if nothing else you deny a potential flex-play to an opponent.
It's 10 team league but the format is .5 PPR and you start
3 WR
1 RB
And 2 flex RB/WR
1 TE
1QB
1 K
1 D
And no reason not too other then to stay #1 on waivers, guess I'll do it

Well that gets closer to a toss up. Who is the backup QB in AZ? Palmer likely misses this week. But I'd look at long term picture here.
I recently used my waiver priority on Jordan Howard. I had managed my priority until I was #1. I was getting a 3 down RB that had shown immense ability and has no one ahead of him. He will be a weekly starter on my team, likely as my RB2 every week. This is the kind of player I want to use my waiver priority on. But the main test is, would this player start for me weekly and be an obvious upgrade? If the answer is yes, you should probably do it. If not, then your waiver priority will be used on someone else before too long in which the answer will be a clear and definitive 'YES'.
