Q: The way that Rodgers can put up points, do you feel more pressure as an offense that you might have to outshoot him?

A: There’s always pressure. We have to put some points up. Obviously, last week and the week before wasn’t indicative of that. We want to be able to come out there and put some points on the board. Get ourselves going in the right direction early in the game.

Q: They’ve been phenomenal in stopping the run. Does that make it harder to balance an offensive attack or do you say, ‘We have to do it through the air?’

A: We always want to be balanced with the run and the pass, but we also have to understand that we have to take what the defense gives us. We have to be able to understand how they’re playing us and be able to combat that however we want to, whether it’s the run or the pass. We’ll see how the game shapes out.

Q: Coach McAdoo said earlier this week that this offense is about to breakout. Do you believe that’s the case? How can you accomplish that?

A: I do believe that’s the case. You can feel it each and every week out there on the game field. Just being able to execute is how we accomplish it. Just being where we’re supposed to be, and how we’re supposed to be, in a timely manner so Eli can depend on us. He has to depend on us to be in that spot and hit us with a timely pass to get things going. I think we’re right on the brink of it. We just have to be diligent in our approach and continue going that way.

Q: You know the potential in this passing offense. Is this a spot where you can realize that full potential?

A: I hope so. Every week you want to realize and reach that full potential. Hopefully we can come together. This is that game where we kind of breakout. Everybody goes for a tremendous amount of yards and we can make things happen. The biggest key is winning the football game. Whatever we can do. Whatever our role enlists us to do to win the football game is our only goal.

Q: How about with Odell specifically? He’s had some monster games in his career. Do you get a sense that one of those is coming?

A: Every time that kid touches the football you think it’s going to be a big play. You just want to be able to get him the ball in space and watch him work. That’s the thing with all of us. I feel like you just want to get us the ball so we can get some space and beat our defender one-on-one. See what happens.

Q: He didn’t get a target until midway through the second quarter last week. Ben said that’s something that he needed to work on. Do you agree with that?

A: Absolutely. You have to get all your playmakers the ball early and often. That’s the way you get them acclimated to the game early and get them into a flow. Then, they’re comfortable for the rest of the game. Obviously we want to get everyone the football in a way they can utilize their skillset and get us first downs and touchdowns.

Q: Yesterday, coach Sullivan said it was cowardly that teams tried to get in Odell’s head. Do you agree?

A: Next question.
