anyone have guys that went lastnight?
I ended up making out alright; my CJ Anderson vs. his Demaryius and Sanders. Going into the weekend down 1 point which I will certainly take.
Despite his lackluster performance the past few weeks, CJ Anderson is still a legit all purpose RB. He had 2 big runs called back, 1 of which was a TD. He could have easily had a 20+ point fantasy day. I have Booker as insurance just in case, but I think the coaching staff realizes the offensive woes are due to Simien and the not so healthy WR's than it is Anderson; I think he out snapped Booker 3-1.
One guy in our league started Rivers, Travis Benjamin, Emmanuel Sanders and Denver D. He's got a big hole to climb out of.
I did start Sanders in my Draft Kings league which didn't pay off at all but I can live with that.
whoops. I think.
Odell
Sproles
Tyrell Williams
for
Gronk
Cobb
Foster
I have Kelvin Benjamin, Pryor, Crabtree as my other WRs
RBs are Michael Bell and Mckinnon
Thoughts?

I would do that. You are getting rid of 3 injury prone players and are getting the best player in the deal. Gronk should be awesome....if healthy so that's really the only pause i'd give this trade.

Do you start a TE? Essentially the trade is Gronk for Odell, the rest is just shuffling the deck chairs.
Then I'd do the deal.
I also made a trade shortly after. Landed Bennett, Riddick and Edelman for Cooks and Blount. I am a Reed owner so I thought this was necessary. I also think Riddick has a good weekly floor even if he doesn't get the TDs Blount gets.
Dak. Higher floor, not sure how Zeke will do.
I really need a huge game from Miller and Beckham this week. Heres the matchup. My team is with Brees
Brees vs brady
Howard vs. mccoy
Miller vs. ingram
OBJ vs. Brown
Landry vs. Pryor
Gronk vs. edelman
J. Matthews vs. Meredith
Bailey vs. santos
Bills vs. Seattle
Both of our teams are projected to be the 2 highest totals of the week.
Or should I flex one?
WR are Hopkins, Kelvin Benjamin and planning to flex Cooks.
Keeping Jordan Matthews on the bench.
Still nothing at QB, starting Alex Smith, but the rest of the team is stacked even with Decker and Moncrief out.

That looks like it should be a close matchup - just based on projections.
on paper my matchup should be a blowout (if the Giants show up), but I'll likely lose:
Eli vs. Stafford
Beckham vs. Jamison Crowder
Landry vs. Dez Bryant
Gurley vs D. Murray
J. Howard vs. Hyde
S. Shepard vs. Ertz
Kelce vs Miller
Sturgis vs Tucker
Buffalo D vs Pittsburgh

Not sure if joking, but Howard and then Ingram if healthy. I don't trust Stewart yet until I see it, and Matthews is an injury waiting to happen.
Trade A.) Rivers for Henry/Graham (Not sure who he would part with)
B.) Rivers for Ertz
C.) Rivers and Duke Johnson for Rothlisberger (I get an upgrade at QB as my other QB is Stafford)
I have Jordan Reed and him only, unfortunately there isn't anything out there for replacements, I'm going to have to get Davis for this week when Reed is out and who knows if he will come back.

Who would your QB be without rivers? I'd trade for one of graham/Henry if you are set at QB
Do I go:
Edelman vs Cincy
Crabtree vs KC
Coates vs Miami
Dez vs GB
Riddick vs LA
Pick 2
I did, to pick up Alex Smith. I have been rolling with Jameis at QB, though I streamed Hoyer last week. Still holding Moncrief, though I might end up dumping him too

No joke. I planned to start Howard and probably Ingram. I really like Stewart's matchup and the fact that they will probably try to pound the ball a bit and avoid Cam running, but it is his first game back.
Complicating things further is that Ingram missed practice sick and Mathews is getting some volume and the Skins kinda suck against the run. Being an injury waiting to happen only matters when he is injured (i.e. next week) I am wondering if I should run 3 backs and bench Cooks who has been fairly cold since week 1.

How (why?) do you have so many Giants on your roster? It's not smart to play multiple people from the same good offenses, let alone how the Giants are playing....
What do you mean, he's averaging 5 receptions a game, has 4 TDs in 5 games and averages around 10 carries a game.
That is on par for his skill set and projections. If you were expecting him to be an every down RB after Abdullah got injured, then that's your fault. He's not built to run between the tackles and be an every down RB.
I didn't start out this way. We drafted before pre-season game 3 due to schedules and I drafted Tony Romo to be my QB. I decided to wait on QB and I figured Romo was primed for a good year, so post-draft my team was:
QB: Romo/Prescott (I drafted Prescott mr irrelevant)
RB: Gurley, Abdullah, Langford, Starks, and more...
WR: Beckham, Watkins, Cooper, Landry, Marvin Jones, M. Thomas
So it was a WR heavy team. I can start 4 WR's since we have two flexes and no TE.
I lost Watkins and Abdullah obviously and Romo.
I traded Marvin Jones for Philip Rivers before the season.
then a couple weeks ago I traded Rivers and Cooper (plus some scrap) for Eli, Shepard, Kelce and Ryan Mathews.
It's a keeper league and my plan was to trade Beckham since he's likely a non-keeper b/c he'll cost a 1st round pick, but I haven't gotten the right deal worked out yet.
If the Giants offense plays the way they should it wouldn't be a problem.

I could be mistaken but I think he's referring to the injuries.
As for Ryan Mathews, I don't agree on the outlook tha tyou should only worry about it if/when he's injured. He has a pitiful YPC, the worst on the team by almost a full YPC and sooner or later they are going to give carries to Smallwood who's more explosive and will cut down on the injury risk to Mathews.

Agree with this. Someone in my league traded Alshon for Kerley and Mathews. Ultimate selling low move but he didn't even ask for Smallwood to be included in the deal, which the mathews/kerley owner has as well.

which sucks. I begrudgingly picked up Forsett, so i guess I'd use him if Riddick can't go.

That's an awful return for Alshon, even at his depressed status.
.5 PPR
Bernard @ NE
Austin @ DET
Beasley @ GB
Kerley @ BUF
I currently have Bernard in because I see CIN playing from behind and he will get some throws his way...but DET defense has been awful and with Dez likely out again, Beasley should continue to see a good amount of targets...
Any advice appreciated
I wouldn't trust Austin and Kerley I'd want to see with Kaepernick. He was building a solid rapport with Gabbert (though he was the only one who was)
I know, it's pretty bleak. I had ok WR but diggs is on bye and decker is done.
Merideth is the chicago WR. He got a ton of targets last week. I was watching the game, and was kind of impressed. Hoyer seemed to look his way often. He plays the position white did. I noticed in an earlier game that hoyer threw to white in big spots. not sure if he doesn't like Alshon, or prefers that read in that offense.
Other choice is at TE
Fleener vs Carolina or Clay (Buff) vs. San Fran
Clay has been getting more targets since they changed OC. has a higher floor. Fleener is maddening but could always have a big day. I scapped up hunter henry earlier this week (but didn't start him - of course)
Eli vs BAL 18 projected points
or
Wentz @WAS 22 projected points
Shepard vs BAL 10 projected points
or
M. Thomas vs CAR 13 projected points
or
Ryan Mathews vs WAS 11 projected points
or
Dennis Pitta @NYG 11 projected point
or
TJ Yeldon @CHI 10 projected points
so basically Shepard or any of the other 3 options for flex2

Yeldon's your safest play. Thomas gives you the most risk/reward.
If its a 12 team league they are great options, IMO. I'm looking at my roster this week and between byes and injuries I still think I have a strong lineup. I look at the other rosters and some are just putrid. I do like Yeldon as well, but he's been pretty bad and is on the road. Have to figure he busts out sooner or later. He had a good game against Indy (awful defense) but has a good match up, albeit on the road.
I always say I don't draft or build a team for bye weeks, but that's crazy.
I can plug in Wentz, M. Thomas, Mathews, and Yeldon, but I'll take a big hit that week unless I trade Beckham as I've been attempting to do.
In smaller leagues I'd pay more attention, but this league we have 8 bench spots. I have Paul Perkins, Sammy Watkins and Tony Romo on my bench still. Downside is not much on waivers, but I won't have to stress too much about week 8.
