I use IE 11 almost exclusively and my OS is Win8.1
A couple of days ago, Microsoft sent an upgrade and now IE11 locks up if I try to open a second tab and even locks up frequently even when I work with only a single tab. For that reason, I am typing out this message in WORD and will copy and paste it to the message board because if I try to type out this message on the message board, it's likely to lock up in the middle of my typing.
Yesterday I did a system restore and IE worked fine. That is, until I turned my PC off last night and it re-downloaded upgrades and the same problem returned. I don't want to leave my PC on all night nor do I want to do a system restore every morning so that I can peruse the internet at my leisure without the frustration of it locking up.
Interestingly, when it locks up and refuses to respond to anything, I do a Cntl-Alt-Del and the task manager displays that the IE is working fine...but it's the only way to shut IE down so I can reload it.
Anyone else having this issue?
