Isn't PI a "spot" foul? Where it occurred?

JohnB : 10/16/2016 5:46 pm
If so, then the PI, according to the refs, was well AFTER the DRC hand check.

I don't agree with the "hand-check, PI call" but if the ref thought the hand check was PI, it should have been place 15 yards back or so, not where it was placed.

if it is a spot foul placement, it's another FU regarding the play.
the same refs watched a REPLAY

where Sheppard clearly contacted the defender after the INT and they still didn't bring it back.
I thought the same

The DRC's behind his back hand check occurred at least 10 yards back and could have been called an illegal use of hands 5 yard penalty instead of a spot foul but as someone said in another post the official who threw that flag was on the opposite side of the field....some set of eyes by that guy.

My biggest gripe was the non call vs. Roger Lewis in the end zone.

My biggest bonehead moment, and there were a few, was Larry Donnell not gaining the first down on the 3rd down pass. What an example of someone who is not aware of the circumstances.
Yup, this crew was horrendous

and seem very confused throughout.

The officiating today was as bad as could be. Reminded me of when the replacement officials played and no one could tell the difference. Effing Dean Blandino.
this is the part that pissed me off the most

just a horrendous call. Thankfully, Eli to Odell saved us from an endless discussion about that call.
I think the "penalty occurred earlier"

was bs made up by a ref to cover a blown call. The timing of the flag and the position of the ref who threw it make more sense if it was meant for something that occurred later. And the spot just confirms it.

I agree across the board. That Lewis non-call was infuriating.
