He needs a bit of rest he practices probably more than
any other NFL player ..
Not Only will he be ready but he will have another big
game overseas .. Book It .
Walk off TD? Did you miss his unsportsmanlike penalty and the field position he gave them? And did you also miss the final sequence of plays in our end zone? Anything but a walk off!

While it was by no means a "walk-off", the penalty cost the Giants 7 yards in the end.

7 yds...if the Giants couldn't hold the Ravens out from 68 I doubt 75 would've made much of a difference. This is why you spent a metric ton of money on the defense.
I'm not saying the penalty wasn't bad(although I'm not sure it was correct)but lets be factual.

The result happened to be 7 yards. It could have been a lot more.
Kicking the ball through the end zone ensured 75 yards required.

But it wasn't a lot more...hence the factual comment. I'm not saying it wasn't a stupid penalty I'm just tired of the it cost 15 yds and led to great field position comments. It didn't. The kick also took about 5 seconds off the clock.

Also took ~5 seconds off the clock, whereas a TB takes 0 time off. In the last 2 min and the other team needing a TD, I'll trade 7 yards for 5 secs every day.
Although it'd be nice to have him, the Giants should beat the Rams without.
Then be ready for week 9 vs the Eagles. I want to see the Giants skullfuck the Eagles.
Even though I think he will be good to go this week- I really wouldn't mind seeing him used in some areas as a decoy and build in some rest if he's hampered at all.
Could be a really smart thing to do, especially given scumbag Jeff Fisher's defenses tendency to play dirty in the first place

If you want to be very factual, if the Ravens needed 75 yards and were getting 7 yards every 5 seconds, they would be in the end zone in 55 seconds. There was 1:24 left on the clock after OBJ scored. So no, you probably don't want to trade 7 yards for 5 seconds all day in that position.
Please tell me you are kidding?
Of course we need him!
We will need him when Donnell goes out of bounds 2 yards before converting on critical third down..
any other NFL player ..

And for all of you who want to point out there was still time on the clock; if I wanted your opinion I'd give it to you.
What good will Beckham be when the Rams have the ball because Donnell landed on his head and fumbled?
If the Giants trade him, what should they expect in return?

I think everyone realizes that. But Emlen suggested the penalty gave them good field position. People are simply pointing out that Emlen is wrong.
