I've been looking for this for a long time, and finally lucked across this clip from YouTube.
October 28, 1984: The Giants were kneeling down to finish off an important 37-13 whipping of Washington, who had beaten the Giants at RFK in September.
The initial dunk, as we all know, was courtesy of Jim Burt who had been ridden hard by Parcells all week to get the team ready. The second dunk - which is more of a splash of water thrown from a short distance off camera - came from Harry Carson.
I know from reading newspaper articles and photographs that other players like Lawrence Taylor and Casey Merrill also took the dunking honors during the 1984 & 1985 seasons. By 1986 it had pretty much become cemented as Carson's post victory ritual.
Good times!

I know, what a load of bs!
So is defeating undefeated teams in the title game.
Going by memory only but I think it was George Martin
Okay, I'll be at the wedding (1:00) but if you want me at the reception, you'll find me at the bar, watching the game.
Gave my seat to a friend who wasn't invited.
Classic which stuck

Burt dumped his? Just curious. Has LT written all over it.
I think you both should read the OP a little more carefully.
No big deal either way.
