They fail to mention there was a chance to pile on more runs. Unbelievable that they add replay to fix things with ultra hi-def and multiple angles and they still blow it. Makes it tough to argue with conspiracy fans of all sports. Two terrible calls in the post season so far and both for the "lovable" Cubbies.

The pitcher was coming up, so chances are it was just going to be one run. Not guaranteed, but pretty close.
Lester clearly has the yips as a fielder, and they could have run on him all night but didn't.
I have no real rooting interest, though as a Ranger fan I sympathize with the Cubs fans. I just would have liked to see the drama/tension at Wrigley if the Cubs had to face Kershaw in an elimination Game 6
Has been Buck and Smoltz bitching every time the Dodgers' Baez pitches and takes 10 years. You can hear Buck get more and more annoyed with every pitch. They even brought out the clock last night!
Facing elimination, needing two wins, giving the ball to kershaw and then hill. Such a deflating two games though and a missed opportunity to take hold of this series.
Hopefully kershaw continues to build off that save he got vs the nats. Backed it up with a great start vs the cubs, now we need another one. This postseason thing needs to get out of his head and it luckily looks like it's trending that way. He has also been really unlucky. I saw a stat on MLB network about how uncommonly often the bullpen has allowed his inherited runners to score in his playoff career, and that if it was closer to league average his playoff era would be like 1.50 runs lower.
As MLB breathes a sigh of relief.
