Couldn't find a thread for today, so thought I'd get it started. Point me to existing thread and I'll delete.
My question starts at the TE position in a PPR.
TE Options: Jack Doyle vs Julius Thomas
I have Eifert stashed away, but he is unlikely to play I would think.
At RB I am currently running with Christine Michaels and Melvin Gordon with Todd Gurley, Jacquizz Rodgers, Chris Ivory, and the injured Doug Martin on the bench.
Yea, you're probably right. My team is actually good cause I went with zero RB strategy but it's not fun picking this sort of crap to start each week.
Matt Forte
Arian Foster - doubt he gets a big workload after Ajayi's performance last week. They gotta stick with the hot hand (at least early) and BUF's D is pretty good
Theo Riddick
Darren Sproles
Bobby Rainey
Knile Davis - only 2 days of practice with the team, but the only healthy RB. I'd probably gamble with him.
Mike Gilisee - if McCoy's out, he'd probably be my top choice from this group, but too early to know
RB - Hill vs CLE or Gillislee @ MIA (assuming McCoy's out)
7.7
12.5
1.6
2.8
15.3
Allen had 6 and 4 targets in Doyle's 2 worst games. If he is out, pretty easy to expect Doyle to get 10+ again.
Last time I tried something like that with a Packer RB was starting Rondell Mealey (in place of an injured Ahman Green). That didn't work out all that great.
Also stashed Starks in my other league.
1- Yeldon
2- Ivory
3- Don Jackson
4- Sproles
5- Mathews
6- Gillese
Thinking Gillese + Yeldon for now due to the poor defenses they play. One thing about sproles is that minny has given up a ton of receiving yards to RB's
Hoyer at GB tonight?
So you wouldn't start Jeffery this week over a guy like E. Sanders?
But I think he was referring to benching Wilson in favor of Hoyer. Most leagues have guys on waivers that are likely to outproduce Hoyer any given week so starting him on the road in a Thursday night matchup is gutsy.
Howard @GB
Yeldon vs OAK
Normally I'd start Howard since he won the starting job, but Oakland is giving up almost 7 yards per play and the most yards per game in the league.
Howard @GB
Yeldon vs OAK
I think I'm going to yank Howard from my lineup. Start Yeldon. Yeldon sucked last week, and Ivory vultured the TD, but I think they'll have to pass a lot and that means more Yeldon.
This directly contradicts a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson, who reported McCoy isn't expected to play and could miss multiple weeks. Wawrow isn't a typical Rotoworld source, but it's worth noting nonetheless. At the end of the day, the Bills will likely hold McCoy out to prevent him from further injuring his hamstring in a very winnable game against the Dolphins' bottom-barrel run defense. It's a tough game for McCoy owners to miss out on, but Mike Gillislee is a very capable fill-in.
Thoughts?
I have made three trades in that league so far. Really incredible what I have been able to stockpile. On that team, my WRs are now Brown, AJ Green, Marvin Jones and Travis Benjamin.
Can't find it on my phone, what does it say?

about his eligibility on the front page lol

basically says that they have been getting a lot of inquiries about his position status. For now they are keeping him as a WR but they may change it in the future.
I know they want to be careful here. This could just be a one week thing at RB for him. I remember back when Colston was a rookie. They had him listed as a WR/TE. After his first week of great production, I picked him up on waivers and played him at TE all year. It was really unfair for the rest of the league because I had a TE with WR production.
If he gets RB eligibility he could be worth 5 or 6 catches in PPR plus the yardage, I wouldn't expect too much though.
The smart play here is to grab Starks and put him on IR where available. He should be a solid starting RB for the stretch run and the playoffs.
Agree on Starks, going to put a waiver claim in on him after this week. I'd grab him now but I have my last spot taken by a backup QB with Cam on BYE.
Also trying to decide on K, Gostkowski or Tucker. I've picked the right K every week and it's giving me monster points for the position. Usually I go with the one that had the bad game last week, but for 2 weeks now they've been very close.

I'd bench Eli, London games are typically slop fests due to the travel/field and OBJ is gimpy.
And being able to start 3 QBs in a 10 team league is just dumb.

and I need help. There are ten teams, and we can start 3qbs including one at a flex position. I did the math and a lot of teams don't have enough qb's to cover bye weeks. I grabbed 4 good qbs, and don't know who to sit this week. I have Brees, Stafford, Rivers, and Eli. I generally leave 20-50 points on the bench at the QB position and it could hurt me this week. (I'm 6-0)

Yeah, I joined a ten year old league last year, last second, just to keep it with ten teams. Came in second last year. It was too easy to corner QB's. Thanks for the input!
