Q: London is calling. Is DRC ready?
A: Definitely. Looking forward to the trip and the game itself. Just being over there. First time to experience something like this. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
Q: Any comment on what your teammate Josh Brown is going through?
A: I know Josh Brown. I know him personally. He’s like a brother. We have Bible studies here. He’s the leader of that group. It’s hurtful what he’s going through but I’m definitely here for him. He’s helped me grow a lot from being a man off the field. I’ve learned a lot from him. To just see what he’s going through, I’m hurt for him. I’m here if he needs a shoulder, a hug or just to talk. I definitely know the kind of man that he is. I know that’s not him. I know the things I’ve learned from him.
Q: How do you expect him to respond?
A: I can’t lie; it’s going to be hard. This game has a lot to do with mental. I think he’s mentally strong. We talked about it in all the studies we’ve had. You just go on. The main thing is you have to have the support and I think he’s definitely had the support system. I’m behind him. I’m a guy that looks up to him. I’m here for him.
Q: How do you expect us to react when we read disturbing reports?
A: I can’t really speak on that. You’re your own person. I know it’s hard to believe and hard to read. I just have to go off of what I know with him personally. I don’t know that relationship. I just know him.
Q: Is there any concern about his suspension in the locker room?
A: Again, that’s not my control. I hope not. He’s definitely a brother and valued to our team. I hope that’s not the outcome.
What are they going to ask that's going to be a bigger story in tommorow's paper?
