Do we know who was cut for Gould?

sorry will delete if posted, haven't seen it reported anywhere.

Sounds like Brown hasn't been cut based on McAdoo's comments, and I read Gould signed, sucks someone else has to lose a job over this unless I'm missing something.

Was this reported anywhere yet?

the Giants were asking the Commissioner to put Brown on the exempt list.

might be cut, why would they cut a CB when they have had injuries, and Wade is still here. That makes no sense.
They could move Skinner to the PS, if he is not picked up.

Ah, just went back and saw that, he was referring to being cut by the Rams. Scratch that then.

Not sure, but it sounded like from what McAdoo said they're keeping Brown while they investigate.

The Giants are now paying/paid three kickers because of this.

they have a football game to deal with in London,

I know it's been said, but the dude was a free agent last summer and we were under no obligation to keep him and then this past summer when all this stuff came out and then even now - why is this guy still on this team? What else are they trying to investigate? The only possible reasonable explanation is that they are trying to avoid some sort of players union issue

"get rid of the wife beater" talk because it's stupid, but if you do make the decision to sign Gould and move on from Brown for the indefinite future, then yeah I don't understand why you wouldn't cut him if you've arrived at that decision.

I'm sorry for being so insensitive towards a man who beat his wife and should have been cut in the first place. I'll be more considerate in the future.

was the information coming out this week. It makes it extremely difficult to deal with this and traveling to London. I wish it had come out earlier, even before the season.

I wonder if they have to discuss it with the NFL because of implications with the Union.
