Are you kidding? Kent Graham was basically a bad #2 on any team at his best. Collins was a bona fide #1 for most teams. He had a rocket of an arm which was perfectly suited to the swirling winds in Giants Stadium. One of the best performances I ever saw by a Giants QB was his against the Vikings in the playoff game in 2001 when he threw for nearly 300 yards in the first half alone and 381 total. Giants won 41-0. Kent Graham was a joke. Spent half his time as a backup to Dave Brown. Need I say more?
No, but the Ravens did it for us

I liked Collins but The Ravens had one of the best ever
defensive teams in NFL history .
I think we got Trippletted early on when they called the
hold on Hamilton negating the early TD .
Collins had one of the most beautiful deep throwing arms I ever saw
I talked to a beat reporter during that time: "Collin's arm is remarkable, but Jeff's Georges' is better and in practice - when he doesn't have to worry about reads and rushes - every throw is on the money. He simply never misses.
Maybe the best arm of all time and no one could coach him up into a decent starter. Hmmm.
You guys should have seen Namath when he first came up.
and he had a terrific arm but not nearly as good as Marino or Johnny Unitas for that matter. On pure arm strength those were my top two in my lifetime. An argument could also be made for Elway.

That wasn't really a bad call or a surprising call. That season, the league was targeting defensive holding and Hamilton was flagged more than a few times during the season.
Now I won't confuse him with the other players lining up to kick a FG.
Yes but it was usually caught by the other team.
When Collins was on he could throw it into an envelope 50 yards downfield, when he wasn't, he REALLY wasn't.

You know what the replay showed?
Hamilton grabbing hold of the Raven RB's arm while he tried to get thru traffic.
just sayin'...
