I value your opinion, but not sure if you remember there were some people suggesting that while battling hamstring issues as a rookie Beckham should be "red-shirted" or kept out until after the bye (week 8).
Week 5 he played because the team cleared him and the rest is history.
I trust the team doctors to only clear the player if they're healthy enough to play and not risking further injury.
If he does get hurt? I think they made the best decision with the information they had.
